Oh, man. I was perfectly happy, watching a motion picture on DVD. I took a break and checked my e-mail, and there was one from paypal stating they'd put a hold on a transaction's funds pending my response - nothing to do with me or my account. This is the fourth time they've done this in a month - they've credited all the others into the account, but I'm so tired of it, that I spent twenty-five minutes on hold to get to someone from the resolution center, and I just lit into him like nobody's business and I told him that if that money wasn't in my account in ten seconds there was going to be major trouble, because I now consider this harassment. For you see, this time they chose to flag a payment from a dear reader who has ordered every CD we've ever put out. First the guy asked me for a tracking number - I started getting very agitated and I said a) we don't do tracking numbers, b) it's a pre-order, and c) it's none of his business. I told him that this customer has purchased stuff all the time and to merely check his account or ours. I told this guy that I felt that eBay has put some kind of flag on my account for no reason (I have never in all my paypal years had a problem that's been my fault) - he said he was sorry it seemed like that, but assured me it wasn't. He closed the case and put the money in my account, and I told him strongly that if this happened again EVER it was going to be very problematic for paypal. It's fine to say it's not my fault or a problem with my account, except that they put a hold on MY funds and it shows up as a problem. He heard me well, I think.
