And now, I must be going.  My friend Margo and I are going to see "The Martian" in 3-D!  It starts in about an hour, so I need to shower and leave.

After that, we'll get something to eat before I have to get to the theater for tonight's performance of "HEAD!"

Thanks for the tip, DR Jane!

Have you had them before?  I kept thinking something was flying in my face.

I purchased a beautiful bouquet of flowers at the growers market for only $7.00.  I purchased from the only stand that was in the shade.

I've been wanting to do this since the first time we went to the market, long before we even owned our condo, let alone moved in.

Yes, I've had floaters all my life, but it's the sudden onset of new ones that causes concern.  At DR Elmore's gala dinner Wednesday, I kept thinking there was a bug flying around the room.

Tomorrow is a recovery from everything and ketchup on everything day.  I can't say how much I welcome that.

Add me to the list of people that don't like to attend wedding receptions. I am happy for the couple, certainly. And they deserve their celebration with family and friends. But it all seems so forced, usually, with all of the prescribed "traditions." And I intensely dislike having to make small talk with people I don't know. The ceremony itself I usually don't mind.

Yup, that is what it feels like.  I began getting them a few years ago-very annoying.  Poor Keith has one smack in the middle of his vision.

Our walk tonight was exceptionally lovely, especially the view as we walked the path back home.

Keith took a beautiful photo of the water, clouds, and Mt. Hood.

I put the photo into our group Photobucket page.  I can preview the pic but when I post it suddenly becomes too large of a file.  I'm stumped now.

Interesting, it still said the file was too large after I removed the link to the photo.

I'm afraid a comment I made was misunderstood: there is no damned For Sale sign on the property! It's no wonder my idiot brothers cannot sell the land.  They do nothing.  When I drove by to toss the three pennies, I noticed the land has no sign and it really, really, really pisses me off at their lackadaisical attitude.

My comment was assuming that there would now be a sign after you make some noise about it!

Dead Squirrel In the Hot Tub.

First world problems.

First world problem is how the back up camera on my car not working was described.  I said, "well I happen to live in the first world!"

I think some reasons to have a wedding Thursday at 4pm would be: 1. probably cheaper, 2. easier to book a popular venue for a Thursday, 3. maybe they waited too late to book things and all the weekends were full.

I think the real answer is number 3.  I've mellowed out about the wedding and after a good night's sleep and in a much better mood about it.  I still am not keen on weddings, but I'd rather be invited than not.  I'll have fun once I get there.

I have floaters, they get worse when I'm tired

I like weddings - I like to be involved in weddings, but it's also nice just to be a guest.

Today we had a band concert.  I haven't been really thrilled with the way things have gone since our last director left, but didn't find out until today how many other people in band feel the same way.  Going to rehearsal isn't fun anymore and it hit me today that I really don't want to make time for something that I'm not enjoying anymore.  So I told them I was going to sit out the next concert and probably won't be back until January.
