Sunday morning greetings!  I had a couple of wakeful hours in the wee hours of the morning and finished my night in my recliner.  Not at my best this morning, but I did manage to get us to page 2!

DR Ginny, I hope your eyes are doing better!  I have some LM dish after my visit last Sunday.

Thanks, DR Elmore.  The flashes I was experiencing on Wednesday have subsided, but there are still a lot of new floaty thingies that are quite annoying.

May I call you sometime today about the LM matter?

Continued eye vibes for Ginny

Thanks, DR Vixmom!  The most annoying thing about this is that it's delaying my getting my new prescription filled.  I'd hoped to have new glasses and sunglasses before our trip to New York, but that's not gonna happen.  Maybe I'll have them for my trip to Boston (yes, Boston) in January (yes, January).

I'm glad things are getting better. You didn't say anything about the problem on Wednesday.

As to LM, I'm pretty much home all day rearranging the space.

I'm afraid a comment I made was misunderstood: there is no damned For Sale sign on the property! It's no wonder my idiot brothers cannot sell the land.  They do nothing.  When I drove by to toss the three pennies, I noticed the land has no sign and it really, really, really pisses me off at their lackadaisical attitude.

You were clear about it not having a for sale sign.  Of course that would piss you off.

Good news about the flashes.  Careful the new floaters don't throw your balance off.

I'm up, I'm up - same deal - woke up at three-thirty, thankfully fell back asleep at around four-thirty but slept in fits and starts and not as long as I would have liked because - it's HOT.

I am a bit frustrated with my new computer at the moment: my old Lacie backup drives have no cables that fit this new computer.  I will have to go to Tekserve or the Apple Store and buy some adaptors, I guess.

I think some reasons to have a wedding Thursday at 4pm would be: 1. probably cheaper, 2. easier to book a popular venue for a Thursday, 3. maybe they waited too late to book things and all the weekends were full.

Well, it's not where it will eventually live, but I finally unpacked my new HD TV and have tested it out.

I hooked up my DVD player and the picture is beautiful!  I also hooked up an Ethernet cable from my router and was able to go on-line through my TV.  Typing anything was really kind of awkward, but it works.

I haven't tried out Netflix yet, but it's one of the apps that is already installed.  YouTube is there, also.

I have it up in my bedroom, but it's on the floor.  If I lay back on my bed, half of the picture is cut off because of my bed.  So if I want to watch anything while it's up here, I won't be able to get too comfortable.
