From MBarnum:
Quote
Uhg. That is a toss up.

The smell of Mary Jane cigarettes make me nauseous.

I’m rather allergic to it.

There are some days I could really enjoy a joint!

Like every day for the past month.

I guess those movies I saw in middle school and high school did the trick. Anytime the possibility of "partaking" ever came up, I was usually too scared to do so.  Plus, I just liked watching everyone get high and stupid.  It made it so much easier to hold things over their head that way.

*And, yes, that's the secret to my success.  ;D

Ahhhh, but the mind virtually "boggles" at the prospect of Jose with the "munchies"!!!

Tonight I shall watch NCIS and THE MENTALIST, and with the encouragement of what was written here last week, I will also jump over to ELI STONE at the end of the evening.

Why should I let Katie Holmes keep me from watching a show I really liked last year?

Oh what a night it was — again. Sean and Kevin wowed the crowd last night at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre with their Los Angeles premiere performance of "Jersey Men." Their energy was high, their voices blended powerfully and the audience — including my ever-lovin' Amy and I — loved it.

Even the post-show pickups that had to be done were a blast. Sean had to redo a portion of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" because of problems with the band, and it was priceless watching BK cut him mid-song and tell him, "Stop, Sean, stop ... our cameraman is in the bathroom!"

Congratulations to the boys, John Randall and the band, director BK and stage manager Adrianna. Can't wait for the DVD!

 :D  Thanks for the report.

DR JANE - the shot leading into the FLU happened to me year before last......last year not so much.

Are you saying your timing was off or the shot made you feel like you had the flu?  What are you doing this year?  I figure if I'm getting it, the sooner the better.

Loved the food pictures, DR Vixmom, and the confirmation photos even more!  Tell us about how you celebrated after the service.

The Vixter wanted a low key celebration amd her youth group was having a Halloween Costume party that she was bound and determined to go to;  so, at her request, we (Vixdad, vixnana, vixpapa, vixuncle, vixuncle's girlfriend, vixter and myself) went to the Outback for a small celebration

After dinner we came home and she dressed herself as some obscure anime character and went off to her Youth Group festivities

I got both the flu shot and a pneumonia shot this year....weeks ago, actually.

DR George, the way I feel right now, not really.  What you are saying is I have to download my photos into Photobucket & then load them again into a post, sort of like we did for our avatars?

Sort of...you do load them into Photobucket, but then that creates a link that you copy and then paste in a post on HHW.

I agree with DR RLP -

ANYTHING with pesto is divoon.

:)

Pesto ice cream?

Nah.  It would make a much better sorbet.

FYI, here are some stats on our HHW Photobucket account:

Total Pictures and Videos - 90
Monthly Hits - 2090
Album Size - 13 MB (1% of 1 GB total)
Monthly Bandwidth - 161 MB (0% of 25 GB total)

So we've got plenty of room and if that ever gets filled up, I can always create a second account...and a third...and a fourth...etc., etc., etc. (a King and I reference) ;D

Essentially, anyone can create their own free Photobucket account and use it.  I just created the HHW account so that we all can share and no one else has to feel uncomfortable about putting any sort of personal information out there.  I have seven e-mail addresses and used one of them for this account.  If it's necessary (meaning, someone spams it or creates havoc...no relation to June ;)), I can always kill the e-mail address and create a new one.

Der B and I got our flu shots a couple of weeks ago.  My only reaction was a sore arm.

I saved the directions to transfer photos from Photobucket, not how to drop them in.

DR George, please do email me the directions.  I thought I would be good & find them on the administration thread.  Either I'm missing something or it isn't there.

No, you won't find them anywhere on the board so that not just "anyone" can use the account, password and the e-mail address!  I created the account for us long-term posters and I'm only sending the info to posters who've been here for a while.

Good Evening!

I made dinner: Spaghetti (the whole wheat stuff with the extra Omega-3s) and Marinara Sauce, topped with a small broiled pork chop.

I washed the dishes.

I cleaned the kitchen.

...I guess that means I'm an "adult" now.  ;)

DR Jane - Linking from Photobucket it quite easy since Photobucket automatically copies the [IMG] link when you click on it, so that all you have to do if "paste" it into your post.
