I interrupt the Yom Kippur contemplation of my sins (which I'll prolly just start again tomorrow anyway) because I can't resist saying in honor of both Debbie Reynolds and Ann Miller:

Won't you take me to - scopi-town

I'm baaaack.    I can't believe all the CD's I have that aren't all that good.  Some re-issues of obscure musicals are pretty bad.  A lot of talent involved, but they're awful.   Same with some of the lesser-known cabaret singers and revues.   What WERE they thinking?  If anyone has a desire to own any of these once I weed them out, they are yours for the asking!

Looking at this stuff, i can't believe how much money I spent on such things over the years.  Jeepers!  :-\

And the word of the day is: INDAGATE!

To get to my patio, I had to walk INDAGATE.  Well, I did open it first.

It' just a lot of short pos [sic]

Really, DR Kerry?  Just a lot of short "pos"???

Whatever your personal opinion is of me, you have also passed a pissy value judgment on any number of posters here who have had milestones, taken pleasure from them and attained not a few of their number from "just a lot of short pos" [sic].

Thank you so much for killing some of the pleasure I felt in attaining the milestone and for being dismissive of it in response to another poster's congratulations.

I'll return the favor.

Ron, it was only meant as a joke.  I'm sorry you took it a way in which it was not intended.

Following, as it did, your earlier "You must be proud" response to my calling attention to the milestone, and in response to another reader's comment about it being a lot of typing, it seemed nothing like a joke to me.  It was interpreted as dismissive of both the accomplishment and its content.

I'll take your word for it, though, and apologize for my testiness.

I've been trying to find, on YouTube, a rather bizarre 60's variety show production number with Carol Channing.  I know I saw it a while ago.  I think she sings something from HAIR and Tommy Tune is one of the dancers in it.  Ring a bell for anyone?

So, DR Vixmom, did you stay home today?  I almost called in with "a reaction to my flu shot," but couldn't really justify it.

I was lucky: no reaction this year although I did have a day of feeling puny after last year's.

Back from a surprisingly easy long jog - amazing considering I just came off Ny-Quil.  I'm now going to have EmergenC in hot water, but I'm done with Airborne and Coldeze.

Ooooh... Well, just get the regular Chocolate or Vanilla Frozen Custard.  The Chocolate Candied Corn Frozen Custard was just their Chocolate FC with some Candy Corn mixed in.

However, they are in the midst of "Shacktoberfest", so you could really splurge on a "German Chocolate Cake Concrete".  :)

Or you could also get their 'Shroom Burger"...

BK, I am very happy that your literary agent's response to the Kritzer books was so positive, as well it should be.

And I was delighted to be able to help you locate him (although if you prefer to continue to credit "this here website" for the searching that I did, well...OK).

How far do you live from the airport?

And...why the airport?
