I began my evening by watching on DVD the film THE INVISIBLE which came out in theaters in April (I think). Produced by guys responsible for THE SIXTH SENSE, this has some of the same vibe (only the main character isn't dead but merely in limbo between life and death: really sily) with a seedy side of DAWSON'S CREEK thrown in for good measure. Really mediocre, I thought, and acting barely above average even from someone as talented as Marsha Gay Harden.

The best performance was by Alex O'Laughlin (currently the star of MOONLIGHT) who's playing a parolee character who's a thousand miles away from the vampire he plays on CBS.

Thanks for the info...

I will have to get a new telly in the next year or so. My present telly is too old for a converter or a box.

Next I watched tonight's BONES episode, a fun little romp with Angela getting ever-closer to finding her husband. Interesting case, too, and a little off the beaten path for this series.

DR RLP - I vaguely remember that Film Festival....I can't remember the name of it either....but I do remember that in the couple of years it was in existence they always showed a Frances Farmer film....the year after COME AND GET IT, they showed EXCLUSIVE....

And then it disappeared.

I forgot to mention of THE INVISIBLE, there were 11 deleted scenes I watched and two horrendous music videos of songs featured in the movie, both hard rock.

Tomorrow I'll go through both commentary tracks.

In answer to a question earlier today - for Wednesday:

Jupiter has been squaring with independent Uranus in freedom-oriented Sagittarius since January 2007. We finally reach the third and final square in this series today -- just in time for you to put the finishing touches on a relationship you’ve been working on. Indeed, if you have learned to color outside of the lines and rules that others have set for you, you have a wonderful sense of spaciousness in your life. Liberate yourself.

Back from a yummilicious dinner with the cousins and must now sit on my couch like so much fish - but not before telling you that we've added David Burnham to our fundraiser - Mr. Burnham most recently played the male lead on Broadway and on tour in Light In The Piazza, and he's appeared on a couple of my albums, too.

Jose - I was doing some tax work from home, and reached a point where I couldn't continue without some files that were in the office.

that's my story and I'm stickin' with it. :)

The first time I heard the Lavendar Blue (Dilly Dilly) song was on the Tv show THE GHOST AND MRS. MUIR, when Mark Lester made a guest appearance.

I would guess that my first hearing of the song was the Burl Ives version in 1949.

Ives' version of "Little White Duck" is well remembered too.

I received a set of episodes of THE GERTRUDE BERG SHOW....I don't know why I ordered it. I think I got it for one of my interviewees, but I don't remember who! LOL!

I guess I will find out when I watch the episodes and see if anyone I know is a guest star.
