My referral for more physical therapy has been faxed to the therapist.  I can call on Monday and make an appointment.  I just received from Palladium Health their reason for turning down further therapy, and it's bullshit: they claim my pain level out of 10 is only a 3, and that I am perfectly capable of managing the situation with home exercises.

Today is the day that I need to get all the invoices ready to be paid on Monday.  Since next week is a short week, it has to be done earlier than usual.  I hate that. :P

True, but it would've been nice to have the regular amount of time.  We always lose two days because of the holiday, but since it's only once a year, it's not a horrible situation.

The concert was really special tonight. The symphony and the Meistersingers did an excellent job with Mozart's Requiem.

But I preferred the Kurt Weill Concerto for Violin and Wind Instruments was a real treat for me. Weill was 25 when the work premiered, and it was the work of a young composer just bursting at the seams with talent. So melodic and antsy at the same time. And funny.

I'm back to the end of Wild Rose. Well, the script is quite intriguing. Every time it chases a cliche, it heads in another direction. And the ending is really uplifting. Great performance from Jessie Buckley in the lead. I didn't like Rose in the early half of the film, but I like her now. And what a voice.

The library is getting the newly reedited Cotton Club Encore. Looking forward to it. Supposedly has a lot more footage of Gregory Hines and Lonette McKee.
