"If you're too busy, too bad."

LOL.....who wants to go to a meeting about selling Amway anyway?

Amway was my thought, too, but I didn't want to offend any Amway salesman.

Yes, we got some nice gentle rain here. Other places got big storms.

Thanks Laura.  I have a good feeling about things, not sure why.  If she stays (which I prefer) or goes, I really believe it will be for the best for both of us

Thanks, Vixmom, I really value your opinion (not that I don't value others).  I do make a point of telling her and others in her presence how great she does her job and how much she contributes to my office. I give her paid time off on afternoons when there isn't too much going on, I buy her lunch, bring in treats and give her a lot of extras. Last time she asked for a raise I gave it to her.

She did make a comment about another lawyer who was looking for a secretary and found one.  Actually now that I think of it she's said she would have worked in other places if she hadn't taken the job with me. Maybe she's found a job, I guess I'll find out.

VIBES it all works out well

Cilla, several years ago Tempe made a lake out of the dry Salt River there by Monte's. They had huge inflatable rubber dams at both ends of the "lake." Well, 11 years of Arizona heat caused the rubber to give way and the dam to rupture, sending a billion gallons of water downstream. The fish that didn't go downstream died, and, well, it's a little smelly in downtown Tempe now.

The lake was stocked for fishing with trout and other fish.

All so they could have a lake in a dried up river bed....emphasis on dried up...as in God does not intend a lake to be here

I can't seem to find the time to turn on the computer for more than a few minutes a day.  Life is not supposed to be this busy.  Not at my age anyway.  And that's just my opinion.  ;D

Took another car load of stuff to the Arc Foundation, it does feel better not to be so cluttered.   Just 20 large boxes to go.  And then to find places to put the things I'm keeping.  Uh.

Watched a strange movie during my afternoon exhaustion break.   Romance & Cigarettes.   I really liked it, but is it considered to be a musical ?

Tired.  Listening to an interesting album of Bernard Herrmann music played as piano solo.  I'm enjoying it.

I'm totally in love with our next release - a score from the 1950s.

Today I did nothing but watch TV, eat, take a shower, visit the necessary (when necessary) and I just cleaned up some cat vomit. :P

I wanted to ketchup on back episodes of Warehouse 13, so I watched the last two episodes from last season and this season's first two episodes on-line.  I love my 24-inch, hi-def computer monitor! :D After that, I watched the latest episode on my hi-def TV.

I think at one point I was planning on doing laundry, but I got so engrossed in "Warehouse 13" that I just forgot...at least I do have clean clothes for tomorrow.
