Doing laundry and thinking about food.  I could make sandwiches here or I could deliver from that Mexican jernt from last week - I really like their taco and just noticed they also have taquitos.  Or Stanley's again.  Or, well Door Dash has endless possibilities.

Dinner is a thing of the past and I need to clean up the cats' dishes.  Tonight is Midsomer Murders night and I wish we had some ice cream.  I'm sure Annabelle does, too.

DR VIXMOM did you tell your Mom you still have an inventory of your missing items?

I'm still too mad to discuss it, it's only been 53 years

Sauerkraut on hot dogs......you wacky Long Islanders!

Sauerkraut and Guldens Mustard.  Either that or chili, onions, and grated cheddar cheese.

DR Vixmom I am relieved you were able to get your medication quickly.

I suggest ordering your refills ahead of the date.  By doing this I have slowly acquired an extra month of meds.

With my insurance you can only get a refill 5 days before you run out.  But in this case there weren't even any refills left so I couldn't just order one from the pharmacy.

My doctor must have submitted the new prescription immediately after I called and I guess with all the quarantining going on the insurance waived the 5 day rule, or maybe it didn't count because it was new prescription not a refill

Keep doing the 5 day rule.  It adds up after time.  If it is a new insurance vs a renewal, in my experience, it does not follow the 5 day rule.

I'm on auto renew on all my meds

I wondered what DR Chas was talking about.  I guess you removed something.

Nope, post 99 remains unaltered, Chas  has a good imagination

I tried to send Annabelle's vet, the wonderful Dr Mohr, an update on her health, and I got a reply that she was out of the office till the end of April!

I made lentils in lobster stock and a Moroccan carrot salad. For dessert, coconut key line pie, if it has set up.

Well, I guess the deal with Cheesecake Factory delivery is that you cannot book it the night before.  I happened to be on Door Dash and ready to order Mexican food, and I clicked on the Cheesecake Factory and ASAP was available, so I ordered my farfalle with roasted garlic, chicken, carmelized onions, peas, sundried tomatoes, in a cream sauce, the lunch-size portion, and twenty minutes later it arrived.  Really glad I didn't get the full portion or I'd be on the ground unable to move.  It was great and so was the bread that came with it - too many calories, but I needed a great meal after yesterday's fiasco.  I think I may do that once a week.

And some guy on Facebook, a founding member of the doom and gloom brigade, actually posted that this is going to last over a year and things won't go back to normal until then - based on?  Conversations he's had with "doctors" and "friends."  I didn't go after him - he's a nice guy - but the stupidity of his fear-mongering is actually mind-boggling.  I took a screen shot and will happily remind him of this at some point and it won't be over a year from now.

Watching the second film in the Marseille Trilogy, Fanny. The movie is almost over and I realized that the second billed actor, Pierre Fresnay (Franny's lover Marius), isn't in the movie. Yet his spirit hangs over the whole film.

I remember the almost operatic passion and the heartbreak in these films, which I haven't seen in almost 20 years. But I forgot the scenes of really gut-busting laughter.

Well, he did show up with less than 30 minutes to go, and it was better than I remembered.

I'm going to hold off on part 3, Cesar, until tomorrow.

My osteopath called me this afternoon and we had a telephonic update. He received the email I sent him a few days ago, when I explained my total exasperation with his office staff. (Know nothing, tell nothing, NEVER get back to you.) He's working in Urgent Care these days and they've cancelled all his appointments. It would have been helpful if they'd explained that. They did offer a phone visit, but never followed up, so I emailed him directly. Everything is, of course, upside-down due to Covid, but all the staff would tell me was a brusque "Your appointment was cancelled" and that he was out of the office. Is he sick? Did he have an accident? Do I need to find another doctor? He's OK, but he did say that a lot of the patients he's seeing are testing positive. I didn't have a chance to ask if they were all showing symptoms, but I imagine most of them were or they wouldn't have come in.

I've been doing laundry and cleaning. I really wish I could get Brian over here to help me, but he's exposed to people all day and could be a carrier. I don't feel I can risk that.

I've also been placing online orders. The online suppliers I rely on have been rushed off their feet and all deliveries have been delayed a week. Amazon seems to be handling the extra load better than most.
