That is frustrating about the fridge door. But good thing you noticed the problem.

It's been a concern since I asked for a new fridge and the landlord took care of it. GE did not.

I've answered e-mails and now I guess I'll try to jog - it's pretty windy outside.

I will be happy when the election season is over. I am growing weary from negative ads from both parties...

Missed the window for jogging.  But after the work session I'll probably have time.  And I think I'll power walk to Jerry's instead of drive.  And I totally forgot I have to go to my engineer's tonight.

"Elementary" has just opened over here. I thought the opening episode was good. Not as clever as "Sherlock" but well scripted, directed and acted.

We are back from Dayton, where Richard visited a new (to us) podiatrist who, in a few weeks, will perform some conservative surgery on one of his toes.  We then had lunch at Panera and drove around Kettering Medical Center so that we know where we're going on the day of the procedure.

I thought the delivery men changed the door if it needed to be changed.

Had a very yummilicious grilled cheese and bacon sandwich - I forget how much I like grilled cheese sandwiches.  Then I picked up three packages.

Thank you DR Laura.  We have lots of fireflies at the pond.  You would enjoy photographing them.  I do not have the patience, or the zoom lens on my camera.

From DR TCB:

Quote
Jennifer, I really think you need to see your doctor for a complete exam.

I was going to suggest the same thing.  There should be loads of blood taken & tests to be run to find out why you have been so run down the last year.  It might be more than just catching things from your nieces.

From DR CharlesPogue:
Quote
My father did not like them (I think he had a friend who was killed on one), so we never had one...until neither of my parents wanted to drive my brother to summer football practice at six in the morning, so he got a bike from a relative or somewhere, but by that time I didn't care and would've have probably never learned to balance myself on one anyway.  And, frankly, I was kind of in my father's camp.  I liked something with sides around me.

I can understand your father's concerns.  I'm glad you didn't feel deprived not having one.

DR JENNIFER I would only use the Kindle for reading books.  I am not interested in having a tablet or telephone with internet capabilities.  I don't need to take my computer with me.

I don't text at all - and I barely use my cell phone - it is only in case of emergencies.  But then I am not so important that I need to be instantly and constantly IN TOUCH with anybody in particular.

I do NOT have WIFI, so how the KINDLE seems to be described here and elsewhere seems like just too much trouble.  I think I will keep reading BOOKS for awhile.

Then I suggest checking out the new Nook eReader.
