Thanks, I am too. :D

Even if you do risk alien invaders. That's a small price to pay for GOOD VENTILATION.
Well...adequate ventilation, but still good enough. ;)

I've had a sandwich, and was just trying to watch a motion picture on Blu-Ray.  This thing was not well-reviewed and was a bit of a stiff at the box-office, and yet everyone was waiting for the Blu-Ray as if this film were the second coming.  And, it's a close to three-hour "director's" cut.  I will tell you that I lasted forty excruciating minutes before ripping the disc out of the player and putting it directly into the trade pile - simply put, it belongs in the pantheon of movie crap, a total waste of whatever format it was shot on, directed by an incompetent kid who couldn't tell a story if his life depended on it, and written by utter fools (it's based on a graphic novel) - it is called Watchmen.

Don't know if I mentioned it yet, but my KitchenAid food processor arrived today!!! It's the one I cashed in my frequent flyer miles to get.  It's even nicer than I thought it would be. I'm very excited to start using it.  I will wait, however, until I get back from my reunion

Tonight's dish with tomato was some beef sliced in strips and sauteed in olive oil, with garlic, salt and pepper and cherry tomatoes,  It was very tasty

We did not get one single good tomato out of our garden this year, Cillaliz. I am very jealous.

I haven't been watching Big Brother but tuned in tonight.   I don't think I like any of these people.

I spent a lot of time digging up the new garden area by hand, putting in both manure and new topsoil, etc.  Then I bought some bigger tomato plants that already had blossoms.  I got very lucky with the weather, and am pleased that it's working out.  I actually have 4 different kinds of tomatoes from cherry to the great big ones.

There is a blight that is wiping out much of the tomato crop in the Northeast this year.  Also potatoes.

They are quite unappealing. Usually i always have one favorite. But this year i dislike almost all of them.  The only ones i find sort of endearing are jeff and jordan. I would love for them to go after the athletes. Only problem is i don't find jordan too bright!  While i think she is sweet and good hearted, i just can't have my favorite be someone who is dumb!

At least i don't hate her.

America's vote should be interesting.

My nose won't stop running. Does anyone know anything to take that makes your nose stop running (and sinuses stop hurting).

It can't make you drowsy. So it can't be something like sudafed. Because things that cause drowsiness make me unable to function for like 24 hours.

So far i've been doing advil cold and sinus. Only it doesn't really make my nose stop running. :(

Today I visited my mother and my aunt, delivering to each of them a box of Fannie May candy that we brought back from Chicago.  Took my mom on a couple of shopping errands.  Then Richard and I went to the hospital to visit his brother (no change), grabbed dinner on the way home, and are now watching TV.  We saw the opening number on SYTYCD, and my jaw is still on the floor.  We've switched over to Foyle's War, which interests Richard more than it does me.

Good Evening!

Well... I finally broke down and put my window A/C unit in in my bedroom window.  It really wasn't that hot out today, but I can tell that the humidity has settled in for the summer.

Jennifer, there are several homeopathic sinus remedies available. I am currently taking one by Gripp-Heel. I used to take on by Natura-Bio, which I swore by. Both are very good--effective and no side-effects. You should be able to find one under $10 (US).

Ginny, I ADORE FOYLE'S WAR. I think it's brilliant. But I am a big fan of WWII drama.
