Dylan unfortunately has no musical talent.  But he's also a much happier dog for not being tortured by musical talent.

:)

In other words; Toby's in pain! Sad!

Dr FJL...I love the picture of Toby and Dyland and absolutely cannot wait to meet them!

My DH and I were talking a leisurely walk through an abandoned office park and saw a big, black, beautiful dog. I thought it was a bouvier de flanders but his owner said he was a giant schnauzer. I'd never heard of such a thing! But he was wonderful, very friendly.

All the books had CDs except for Rewind - but there's a song that features prominently in Rewind that's on Guy Haines' New Guy In Town CD.

I still have a few Bus and Truck CDs (the musical they're doing in the book), and, as I said, I'm doing a one CD version of the three Kritzer books that I'll have in about a month.

Looking forward to the cd for the Kritzer trilogy

Let'a hope that America corrects the judges error!

It seemed to me that they were trying to encourage that...

Oh, but Jackie was NOT from that region at all!

So am I, DR Cillaliz.  I'm planning to reread the books when it's available.

Edi - Toby's warbling "Once in Love with Amy" in preparation for your visit.  :)  Dylan is listening attentively, but perked up when he heard you know Alton Brown.

Well, with the price of produce creeping up due to the harsh winter, a bottle of dehydrated veggies may end up being cheaper at this point.  Besides, it saves on chopping and mincing time.  ;)

I've been considering planting a vegetable garden this year.  Just trying to figure out the best place to do it.  If I don't do a real garden I may at least do some patio tomatoes.

I am forever amazed at CILLALIZ'S motivation and stamina!

LOL, I don't tell you about all the days I don't do a thing, thus the place gets to be a mess and I have no choice but to work like crazy once I get started.  Actually the master plan is now to get everything done around here in the next month or two then set up a schedule like DR Matt.  I think I could keep the place clean that way without having to hire someone to clean. I've always figured if I have to pick up, I may as well clean.  And I didn't get around to sorting clothes

Very successful show here - with the critics and the punters.
I did not watch it.  The team behind the show has an excellent track record with Tv and film. I think "Front Line" may have made it to cable in the USA.   Their biggest success here was the film "The Castle". I prefer their second feature "The Dish"

Thanks. I plan to give it a chance

For the first time in my life, I've voted (online) in a reality show.  There's only one Grease pairing for which I'd even consider buying a ticket.

Which is?

Well, that goes without saying.

I began my evening watching another Lucy-Desi show - the race horse episode with Betty Grable and Harry James. I was expecting Betty to look very out of shape and overweight, especially judging from her appearance in HOW TO BE VERY, VERY POPULAR, her last Fox film. At any rate, she looked very good. It wasn't a very funny episode, but I enjoyed William Frawley a lot in this episode.

Tell them I'll do both but will be sure it isn't the wasabi covered nuts, which were good, btw, is there somewhere I can order those?

The Lucy-Desi talk reminds me of my friend Keith saying repeatedly in high school:  Who was Fred Mertz to call Ethel fat?  Ethel Mertz was not fat.
