There are FIVE documentaries connected with this episode, so many that they had to include a separate disc just for them in the set. I'll be watching them tomorrow.

Well, I've been back from my day of TV moving and TV stand purchasing for a while.  I watched the second season finale of "Torchwood" (OMG!!) and now, I'm watching the second season finale of "Dirt."  Anyway, my friend Margo loaned me her Honda Odyssey and the TV (and later, the stand) fit perfectly in the back.  Larry (my sister's boyfriend), my sister, my niece all helped me to get the TV upstairs to my extra bedroom.  The room where I'm eventually going to put up the TV is not yet ready. ::) After we got the TV upstairs, we went to Costco to get the TV stand.  Here's a picture of it from the manufacturer's website:

I like that stand A LOT! Wouldn't mind having one just like it.

Here's a not-so-very-clear picture from the box of how I'm going to set it up:

Tomorrow, I'll likely watch THE TUDORS if I can squeeze it into my viewing schedule. Without NEW AMSTERDAM tomorrow night, I can record BONES at 8 and watch it at 9.

The HOUSE episode on tomorrow night is a rerun, but BONES is new. BONES is actually an episode from last season that got dropped after the killings at Virginia Tech. They've refilmed some stuff and are running it tomorrow.

Tonight's DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES was pretty good. Still annoyed with the Gaby storyline; she's just so crass and thoughtless. I know: she's always been me-oriented, but the man she loves is facing a real crisis and she continues to think only about her own creature comforts. I think it's time to change, possibly grow up a little bit.

Lots of trouble in the offing for Tom and Orsen.

And they pretty much intimated that Lynette's cancer had returned, right?

Yes, I love having BROTHERS & SISTERS back on,

and I was so happy Nora decided to stay where she was. I HATE, HATE, HATE where they're going with the Rebecca storyline.

I have some writing to do now, so I'm going to do that and then head down to bed.

Good night!

Hi all.  I could use some vibes.   I'm picking a jury in the morning and although I love doing jury trials and I'm good at it, it's been awhile, so I'm nervous about this one.  It's a triable case that could really go either way, so that adds to the nerves a little.  I know I will be fine the minute I get into the courtroom, but it's the time before I get there that gets to me.

Anyway, vibes would be appreciated

Ginny....great new avatar!

I saw an incredible production today of MISS SAIGON here in town.  My buddy (and Brad Oscar's close and personal friend) Micheal O'Hara was brilliant as The Engineer.  In fact the entire cast was fantastic.  This was one of those productions that you don't feel embarrassed when the audience gives them a standing ovation.  A great production of a show that has never been one of my favorites.

Might I just ask what the HELL is going on around here?  Page six?  Can't even get to 200 postings?  I tell you, the bitch-slap machine is coming out and NO one will be spared.

Thanks for the vibes. The shirt my client's wife brought for him reeked of smoke. Not wanting to sit by that for hours, I washed it.  So this guy should be happy, not only did I go all over town trying to get him underwear, I washed his clothes!

We had our cue-to-cue, our run-through, and we managed to get through our first tech without stopping once.  We have lots of things to fix and futz with, but it was pretty darn smooth.  The cast was getting used to things, which is only natural, and I'm looking forward to the parts of the set that aren't finished being finished, and the projections being added.  Sound is added on Tuesday.

After rehearsal, I had to deliver 130 CDs to a dealer, and then eat some food, and then I sat on my couch like so much fish and relaxed and watched a motion picture on DVD.

All CDs have had postage affixed to their boxes and are ready for the post office, except for about six International orders, which will go out on Tuesday.

My car is smoking a little, so I'm really hoping my car place has a loaner that I can get tomorrow morning, because I don't really want to drive it when it's having that kind of problem.  I'll call first thing in the morning - usually you have to make an appointment some days in advance for a loaner, but last time I got one on the same day, and I hope that's the case this time.

Speaking of futzing, haven't we previously discussed  the play FUTZ by Rochelle Owens?

My 'splanation:
DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES.
Then I put in a film which I believe features a friend of BK. . .though I'm not sure.  Is Pamelyn Ferdin a BK friend?
Anyhow, it was THE MEPHISTO WALTZ, which I had never seen, though I had read Fred Mustard Stewart's book a long, long time ago.
Chalk up another winning score by Jerry Goldsmith!
Wow! Barbara Parkins sure was beautiful in her 20TH CENTURY FOX days, and would have made an interesting Irene Malloy. . .
Jacqueline Bisset was exquisite in her acting and the looks department.
Alan Alda was, well. . .Alan Alda.
