Back from the long jog, and I guess I'll shave now, just because I can.  Listening to the new CD of Laurence Rosenthal's score to Meteor.  Not one of this classics, but it's fun listening to it.

I wonder which Demy film it shall be today?  I may watch his TV movie adaptation of a Colette story, or I may watch the short films or I may watch Bay of Angels.  I think that's all I have left - I'll rewatch The Pied Piper, which I saw a couple of months ago.  Actually, there must be more - oh, yeah The Donkey Skin - haven't seen that in a couple of years, so I'll watch that.  There are fourteen features, I think, and thus far I think I've watched six, if I'm counting correctly.  Add to that Umbrellas and Young Girls, which I won't watch, that's eight.  Which leaves six - Bay of Angels, the Colette thing, Pied Piper, Donkey Skin - that's four - what are the other two?  I'll go look...

Counted wrong - thirteen features.  I still can't figure out what the fifth film is.  I must have watched one more than I thought.

T.O.D.

I don't even know if they had a premiere, but I would love to have been at the opening of CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, just to have seen Liz and Paul in their prime.

Thank you all for the lovely vibes - the pathologist was very gentle - there was no pain at all in the biopsy - he took a couple of different samples to be sure  -  and we should have the results by Tuesday or Wednesday...

the inside of my mouth is terribly painful from where the ENT took the 4 samples - it's right by the base of my tongue so eating  is a  bit of a challenge.

I'm very pleased to hear it didn't hurt after what you went through with the ENT.  I know it can be painful.  I'm also pleased with the speed in which you will receive the results.

CONTINUED VIBES & PRAYERS!!!

If our esteemed BK were a contracted reviewer of DVDs, and if he was watching a pre-release version of the set he is currently watching, would he be watching Demy demos?

I just had to talk our very own Nick Redman through the amazon.fr ordering process - he just successfully ordered the Demy set.

The cabaret singer just paid me off in full. The check was issued on Tuesday and I'm very happy to see its arrival.

What IS your secret?  I can use at least a smooth face.  Hardly a chance, though.  A smooth butt too!

Back from my former co-worker's husband's funeral, my aunt's errand, and my mom's computer house-call.  It was an easy fix, so Mom and I watched the last quarter of Michigan's win over Minnesota - Little Brown Jug goes back to Ann Arbor!

Took a nice long nap, looked at my e-mails and now shall do some bollywood movie watching.

First on my list: GUPT GYAN (2004) One of those Indian films with a "mature" label attached to it (although it is PG-13 at the most).

It is very low budget and I really don't know what my interest is in it  ;)

When any of the rest of you get home from a vacation or trip; do you ever suffer from hotel flu?  Whenever I stay in a hotel or motel (well, more than a few hours) I always come home and feel like I am ill.  My head gets all stopped-up, and I feel all achy, but a day or two later I feel fine again.

Today is hotel flu day.

We've never had air conditioning nor central heating at home. (Or at work or AC in my car) I've tended to blame the Air Con etc for such a condition DR TCB.

(Yes - someone reads your posts!)

DP Colin has had a chest infection virus for the past few weeks - that maybe hotel and plane related.
