Yes, I am enjoying this Bollywood movie. If only the girl weren't in it so much.

The cabaret singer just paid me off in full. The check was issued on Tuesday and I'm very happy to see its arrival.

DR Ann, such a sweet thought to make homemade pudding.  I can't remember the last time I did that.

~~~~~EASY BREATHING VIBES TO DP COLIN~~~~~
Thank you DR Jose.  He is a lot better these last few days.
Our friend Allan is now "communicating" and allowed to sit in a chair.  He should be able to go a rehabilitation centre in a few days. It's wonderful to hear him joking after a few weeks of far from rational comments (Wonderful morphine) etc.  He must be healing as he now aware of how long the days are! Thanks again to all for the support and prayers.
I have showered and am as fresh as a daisy.  Two interesting things - just for fun, I have a pair of size 32 slacks in the closet - haven't been in them for about five or six years.  Not only did I get in them, they were comfortable and not tight.  I also have a pair of black jeans, size 33, but that are a smaller 33 - haven't been in those for many years - I'm in them now and they're actually loose.  I'm feelin' good, baby!  I have a never-worn pair of 32 jeans in the closet but their slim leg, not loose fit - those I can barely squeeze into but they look gross, so I'll give them away.  I will have to go to the Gap in the next few days and buy some new jeans - I'll probably get 33s so that I'm really comfy in them.
DR TCB, I hope your hotel flu doesn't last long.  I can understand getting that once in awhile, but all the time-no fun at all.
I have have had some bad reactions from chemicals.  Usually I know right off if I'm going to be sick  Of course by then we have already checked into the hotel & there isn't much I can do but suffer.  If I think the bedspread is suspect I'll ask for that to be changed.  More often than not there is re-modeling going on.  One time we stayed at a new motel, I could barely breathe for a week after.  I knew it was going to be bad as soon as we walked into the room.  If it hadn't been late & we weren't exhausted I would insisted we leave.
DFIL is home now, and recovering from the biopsy.  DH Jed is planning to see him after work today.  I have a container of homemade tapioca pudding ready for Jed to take with him.  DFIL has dentures and can't eat much textured foods, but he loves pudding cups...so I thought homemade pudding would work.
Rice pudding with plump raisins and a crusty top right out of the oven - Mmmmmmm
I try to remember to take a Claritin before I travel. When I remember I don't get a the "hotel flu" when I forget, it sometimes bothers me.
But have you taken care of that "not as  smooth as a baby's" butt of yours?
That's just way too much information and creates a mental picture I could have lived my whole life without seeing  ;)
Well, a call is in to the furnace repair people, and they should hopefully be out here this afternoon.  There is, of course, a $75 travel and diagnostic fee, along with whatever it costs to repair the damn thing.  Vibes requested for an easy and cheap fix!
Vixmom - neither Jed nor I were able to locate a butterfly valve, sadly.  The instructions on the panel claim this furnace model is "self lighting."  Apparently it's "self" is in a bad mood and not interested in lighting today.
Back Home!
NEW YORK —  The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum reopens to the public this weekend with a two-day celebration.
A Saturday ribbon cutting aboard the World War II aircraft carrier will be followed by musical performances and fireworks. Members of the Fire Department, the Police Department and the military also will gather for a game of tug-of-war.
