That sounds yummy DR Ann.

It does, doesn't it?  I may have to make some up tonight.  I love it for breakfast in the morning.

I make homemade rice pudding with raisins quite often, actually.  It's a favorite comfort food of mine.

Do you bake it?

der Brucer

indeed I do. I prefer it baked and more custard-like than creamy

A nail gun that is....:)

You want to shoot an intruder in the nail?

der Brucer

No, I need one to put up trim, build my own built in book cases etc.   I'm thinking a saw and a nailer (nail gun). I've been thinking about it for a few days. I need to go talk to some Bob the Builder types and find out what would be the best for me

Took a nice long nap, looked at my e-mails and now shall do some bollywood movie watching.

First on my list: GUPT GYAN (2004) One of those Indian films with a "mature" label attached to it (although it is PG-13 at the most).

It is very low budget and I really don't know what my interest is in it  ;)

Gupt Gyan translates as The Little Female Tailor.

I have showered and am as fresh as a daisy.

But have you taken care of that "not as  smooth as a baby's" butt of yours?

That's just way too much information and creates a mental picture I could have lived my whole life without seeing  ;)

Then I take it you've never seen "Caligula"?

Concerning pressure cookers - DH Richard and I received one as a wedding present, almost 28 years ago.  It's in the basement, never removed from its original packaging, because I'm afraid of it.
They are entirely safe if you use the pot as a planter.

It also helps if you read the instructions on how to use them properly.

Another Saturday night.

I might like to have been to the HELL'S ANGELS (Howard Hughes version) premiere.....it's often in the old news reels and seem very glamorous.

One of the only movies I have ever seen on opening day - I shudder to say - is THE WIZ.....it was a gruesome experience in many ways.

I grew up using them, was very familiar with using them, and they still exploded occasionally.  Aside from scaring me half to death, lentils or beans all over the ceiling were not fun to clean up.

I was going to say that I hope that DR MBarnum enjoy's his Bollywood selection for this evening, but I sense that he's going to enjoy it regardless and in spite of itself.

I think that the two lead actors in Mr. Barnum's latest epic - GUPT GYAN, have probably been seen by more Americans in one day on HHW, than during their entire Bollywood careers.

~~~~~EASY BREATHING VIBES TO DP COLIN~~~~~
Thank you DR Jose.  He is a lot better these last few days.
Our friend Allan is now "communicating" and allowed to sit in a chair.  He should be able to go a rehabilitation centre in a few days. It's wonderful to hear him joking after a few weeks of far from rational comments (Wonderful morphine) etc.  He must be healing as he now aware of how long the days are! Thanks again to all for the support and prayers.
Continued recovery vibes to DF Allan!
So, if you buy a certain mattress at Macy's during their Veteran's Day Mattress Sale event, you will receive a Garmin GPS unit.
WHAT? ??? ??? ???
I guess you know your way around a matress DR Jose.  Perhaps some people get lost.
Well, the furnace guy has come and gone...and took $189 of our hard earned money with him.  He also cheerfully informed me that we need a new furnace ASAP.  I called Jed to inform him of this news, and he had been doing some internet research on this company, and apparently they are known for telling people they need more than they need.  So we will be getting a second opinion before we shell out to anyone for a new furnace.  Apparently this company has more BBB complaints than any other company in the area.  I wish I'd known that before I called them.
I wish we could still trust people to be honest with us about things like that.  It makes me sad.
Maybe it's for those who experience Astral Projection during sleep.....or remember those ads in the comic books for the Rosacrucians?
For $189.00 I will drive over and tell you that you need a new furnace!  Did he get it working for that price?
It's not your fault, Ann.  This is not the kind of information most companies include in their Yellow Pages ad.
Bummer, all the same.
Heading down now to finish  the HAWAII FIVE O episode I ahd started (the last on disc 3) and then spend the rest of the evening with KUNG FU PANDA.
WBBL.
I just finished watching KUNG FU PANDA.
Loved it!  Very funny.  Terrific animation.
Also watched RIDE LONESOME from the Budd Boetticher/Randolph Scott collection.  Only one more of those to go.
