Back from a nice meal at Stanley's - felt like having my once a week splurge meal there, so I had the Cajun chicken pasta and a small Caesar - very good - couldn't quite finish all the pasta. I don't think it was that diet-unfriendly, either. Shortly I shall be on my way to the Beach of Long to attend an opening night.

Ashland, Oregon. Unfortunately it has been divided into 5 small theaters. At least they have kept the front as it was.

For dinner tonight, I am using the pressure cooker to quick-cook some country pork ribs (boneless), with mashed potatoes and a nice green salad. The sauce from the ribs should make a nice gravy for the poatoes.

Right now, I'm waiting for the potatoes to fully cook and the pressure cooker to depressurize.

This should come off loads better than my Grandmother's green beans, which she cooked in a pressure cooker until they had died a thousand deaths. (That's what the steam thingie on top of the cooker does - it counts off each of the deaths. When you're using the pressure cooker to cook green beans, that is.)

Sherlock is feeling better now that he is off the antibiotics & the prednisone has been reduced by half. He even went the entire night without needing to go out.

He looks much better too.

We are still keeping the booties on most of the day & at night.

It was such a beautiful day, unexpected too, so we took him for a walk in town.

My mom was just telling me how beautiful it was down there today. I'm just glad the driving was safe for her.

At the moment, yes. She spends about half her time down there. She directs the Jefferson Baroque Orchestra, which is located in Ashland.

I began my evening finishing the HAWAII FIVE-O episode I had started earlier. It was a bomb planting story and fairly good, but one of the lesser episodes in the box thus far.
