Back from a spot of lunch and picking up only one package and no important envelope, which will hopefully be here tomorrow.

Back from taking the pooches for a short walk.  While short the return trip is all uphill.

I just finished eating dinner, before Keith feeds Sherlock & I have to take Yogi into his bedroom while Sherlock eats.  I'll feed Yogi & Kitty around 7:00.

Whaddyaknow -- one of my neighbors is the Big Pooh-Bah of the Animal-Themed-Service-Club-That-is-Really-a-Bar. I think the beer truck problem may be solved shortly.

I think we've got a beer truck problem right here and if we aren't on page five soon the problem will be a lot bigger than a beer truck, if you get my meaning and I know the errant and truant do.

Well, I'm off to the theater to usher for Menopause! The Musical!  My friend Margo ushered last night and said that there were over 450 people in the audience...and only about 20 guys!  We'll see what it's like tonight. ;)

Until later!

Ugh, I've been working on my part of our tax info and have come to the conclusion that I'm the most disorganized person on the planet when it comes to paperwork.  Time to learn to use the spreadsheet program on my computer!

I've found it very helpful, Ginny, to not have anything. Makes the taxes much easier.

Speaking of taxes, it dawned on me today that they're due in three weeks and I haven't even looked at any paperwork.

DR Jane, you will probably find this funny.  When I went to the library today with my photocopied book requests I told the lady at the front desk what had happened on Monday. She said that she has told the lady MANY times that people have complained about their slips being lost. So it isn't only me!

She also said I could contact the director of the library. But I'm unsure if she meant to 1) comment on what the lady said to me or  2) what i think is more likely - to comment about how many slips are getting lost.

Oy! It's bewen a long long day. Everything went well at the Library of Congress. I spent around $50 on photocopies of scores and libretto. I had a lovely Mexican dinner with margaritas with my friend Loras when the LoC closed. And Amtrak had some screw up, New York trains were held up, and I stood in an endless line for 45 minutes to board a sold out train. They cla it was "motor problems" but there were a lot of police and dogs, so who the hell knows what was really going on? I am now home and exhausted.

Hi everyone... just stopping in for a second to pass on that the DP and I are no more.  His decision, not mine.  Like Elmore says, you'll have to wait for the memoirs.
