I've had a busy little afternoon and then sort of a busy evening, and it now looks like tomorrow will be busy, too.

Right now, I'm listening to the just-arrived soundtrack to the new Miyazaki film Ponyo On The Cliff By The Sea - another wonderful score by Joe Hisaishi.

It looks like the next Kritzerland soundtrack will be a two-fer.  I was going to release the main title alone, but it's really only twenty-nine minutes long and there was no way to charge less for it, since there are advances involved.  So, even though it costs a little more, I found out today that I can pair it with another score by the same composer - that score has been out on CD before but only as part of a very expensive box set that sold out immediately - so, I think it's full speed ahead on that.  It wasn't the first one I wanted to release of this new batch, but it's the quickest and easiest to prepare, so that's that.  The one I wanted to release first will take a bit more time to get right because in addition to the source material from MGM I'm getting something that may have extra material from the composer's estate, at least that's what I've been told.

I did find time to make a pig of myself at the Cheesecake Factory, but I did run a very brisk four miles so hopefully that will mitigate, oh, yes, hopefully that will mitigate.

Hi George.

I've been busy killing spiders.  Wolf spiders and I do not get along, horrible reaction on my skin, so after seeing one I had to spray.  Next outbreak and I have to go to Kaiser, and I don't want to do that, as I am due for a physical.  Do not like physicals or spiders.

Right now, I'm watching The Manhattan Transfer on "Austin City Limits" from 1998.  I found my videotape and am making a DVD of it.  It'll never be released on a purchasable DVD.

Fortunately, there aren't too many spiders in my place.  I don't know about outside.  The few that there are, are in corners that I can't get to, nor do they tend to leave said corners.

Don't have much else to say.

In the paper today, there was a really nice story about Susan Boyle, and someone named Potts who also was sort of the same story.  A picked on person with an incredible voice who won the first season.

I think wolf spiders look for blood.  They don't care if it's human.

I don't like spiders, but at least I'm not deathly afraid of them.
