Lively and sparkling chat. Also a very busy one, so one's eyes and fingers had to do some fancy steppin'!

Thanks for that info, Mike. I was not familiar with this movie at all. Sorry it wasn't up to snuff.

For some reason I was hoping the talk was about Meat Loaf when I saw the title.  Aww well.  But I enjoyed the chat.  It went a bit to fast for me and for some reason, even though I have Road Runner--it kept hanging up/got stuck for me.  First time that has ever happened.  Maybe because there were so many people in the room.

The chat cut a rapid pace this evening...eighteen peope carrying on six or seven conversations and everyone managing to keep up somehow.

Folks are dropping out to eat, but there's still seven or eight folks chattering away.

Tom from OZ....YOU OUGHT TO GO IN AND SAY "G'DAY!"

You can totally do this now, yes???!!!

Patience is a virtue–possessed by none.  No one ever seems to remember the second half to that old saying.  Am I the only one?   ;)

And with that, I'm off to bed.

Have a GREAT evening all!

I tried to post, but it disappeared into the ether.
Will I ever get the hang of this? :-[

Where'd it go?
It was all about cooking tarragon chicken as my first meal prepared as a husband for my wife.  Rats!

Ladies and Gentlemen...

Please observe my terribly realistic picture of myself to your left.  It will have to do until I get my hands on CYGOPP's scanner.

(btw - I plan on selling my self-portraits via Christies' if anyone is interested....)

I'm super busy writing papers... just to let you guys know that I'll post soon about my trip down south, various things about cygopp (who apparently can get me free tickets to broadway musicals... wow:) and various other things.
Oh and Emily, Cygopp isn't in tomorrow, so don't count on scanning then.
Sending out my kisses and wishing I had the time for chat.

I'm not in this week's slibel and lander, but cygopp got a mention:

Re Relative Values: I enjoyed the movie. François sent me the French DVD release "Stars In Love" and the CD. It was 30 years since I saw a stage production.

DR Ron: Maybe one day. I have to be home at the time! Peopel tell me my new system will open up a whole new world. Am I ready for that? I have enough problems with the world in which I dwell at the moment.

Tom from Oz:  The ether world might prove more interesting, in many respects, than the real world that seems to trouble you.

Emily:  NICE picture!  I like the way you did it off center, like a photograph by someone who always cuts off part of people's heads.

Now it's time for our late night posters to take over.  Just watched episode two of Alias, and might go to episode three.

Now, dance, baby.

*Yawn*

Wow!  Chat tonight was sooo much fun, and incredibly well-attended!  I only just signed off and I think it's still going strong (oh, a Hello Dolly reference!)

Emily--your pic is adorable

Swishy--Good vibes!  (Sorry I'm too tired to play around with smilies and fonts and things)

LC--I agree about the Piano Teacher.  Extremely difficult to watch, but Huppert tore my heart out.  It's funny how different she is in 8 Women!

And with this, I must tear myself away and do my homework!  Goodnight all!

td:  What the hell kind of food is that in your picture?  I assume it is chicken (and pasta), but it looks green.

Jed: Come on down to Tacoma sometime, and we can try Popeye's together.  We have one, not far from the Tacoma Mall, but I have never tried it.

Sorry I missed chat, but I had a really good rehearsal tonight for  Oliver.  It was an all music rehearsal, and it was all of my songs, so I was the star and I loved it.  But God, how can we still have almost seven weeks of rehearsals to go???  Couldn't we try using Munchkins instead of children.  I am sure they would learn things much more quickly than Fagin's boys.  And besides, from what I have read, they really liked to party.

For those who were in chat - you know that Swishy had to log off quite suddenly - you'll be happy to know she did not get in trouble and had a blast.  Here is her post, sent to me via e-mail:

#1: Chat was a blast. If you didn't go, you missed out! EIGHTEEN PEOPLE! It
was like the circus.

#2: This is my second post. Now I shan't be bitchslapped and I won't have to
sleep with one eye open.

Well, DearReader Laura and I were the only remaining chatters in the newly improved HHW2!

I did, however, get to chat with RLP, MrMark, Ann and Matthew for  a while. . .things can get randy. . . .

Great time to go to bed and read a book. . .

G'night all. . .

Oh, it's chicken marsala with veggies. . .
