DR DtM - your dream shorted out the Dream-O-Matic 6000.  I think it was the juxtaposition of Mr Jay Mohr and John Tesh in the same dream.

Good Morning!

I'm up!  I'm up!

-And at least I didn't have to spend the night back up in Westport... like some of the cast and crew apparently ended up having to do.  So much for a "dark Monday" off.

Need any women?

I always wondered what career Cassie went to Hollywood for?  Music videos?  Beach Party movies?  Dance partner for Bobby on The Lawrence Welk show?

At most auditions I always ask for lighting that is just a bit softer.  8)

Me too!  I suggest they turn out the lights.

Just got this link from a friend. It's got lots and lots of video of Broadway performances. I think some of it may be taken from the recent Broadway Lost Treasures. Other segments may be bootlegs. There is a 13 minute sequence from the 1970 Tony Award Show where Katherine Hepburn does Always Mademoiselle with a long dialogue introduction. No matter what you think of Coco, I can't imagine any award show nowadays having a 13 minute segment from one show.

Well, I need to head down to midtown to play some auditions.  I should be done by 2:00, and then all I plan to do is head back here and veg for the evening.  I'm suspecting an evening of catching up on the DVR and ordering Chinese food delivery.  :)

I was afraid of that happening.  Sorry.

I'm watching Nancy Dussault singing "Make Someone Happy" at the site Dr Ben posted about.  Beautiful voice, but boy--she sure didn't define "ingenue" on this particular appearance.

DR Michael S, about your Joan Crawford rodeo comment: you may have gone to the rodeo, but she was working there as a ride.

I guess Miss Priscilla will be able to blame Jose publically for the weather.

LOL, well it isn't streaming on the web that's just a recorded message that keeps repeating, so I doubt I'll be on the website, but I will get a tape of some sort and will see about getting it copied or posted somewhere.

BK mentioned that he misses the curtain going up and down in the theater yesterday.

I miss it too, but can it be a cost cutting effect. They have to pay a teamster to press a button to raise and lower a curtain and that will add thousands a dollars to the budget that can be used elsewhere.

Am I correct about this?
