Great big major wonderful vibes for Annabelle tomorrow!

For his first ever extraction years ago, Poe had that same thing done.  One of his upper fangs had broken and become infected.  It came out very easily and he was fine.

My day did not begin as planned, first with not getting out to do errands and then only a short walk, all due to my bad headache. Interestingly mopping the floors helped my head.

The day improved along with the sun.  First we went for a nice 2 hour walk and then another one this evening.

From beginning the day barely moving I managed over 30,000 steps and 12.5 miles.  Not bad :)

Watching an odd Japanese movie called Funeral Parade of Roses. It was said to be influential on Kubrick and A Clockwork Orange, and I can see that.

And one of the worst surprise endings of a movie I've ever seen.

DR Ron I enjoyed reading about your senior lunch event.  Were you one, or the, youngest senior there?

Our pastor and his wife were the youngest seniors.  They are both in their early 50s.  I was next, at age 69.

Are they really seniors if they are under 55 years ;)

AARP targets 50-year-olds as seniors.

Today's vet didn't even give the thyroid a thought; he thinks it is teeth that need to be extracted. We are going to get him stable first.

VIBES TODAY'S VET IS CORRECT!

GETTING STABLE VIBES!

Ditto!
Thank you, all, for the vibes!

DR Ron Pulliam, your advice is pretty much what Annabelle's vet emailed me on Friday.  Thanks for reminding me.  I've purchased Friskies patés for her and Thatch while she heals.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Vibes for Annabelle's recovery~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BK's weekend was much like mine: I watched THE SECRET IN THEIR EYES on Saturday, then went to Ralph's on Sunday. My Ralph's was also quite crowded--the first time I've even seen it that busy.
THE SECRET IN THEIR EYES also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor. I just call him Chiwetel. After all, how many Chiwetels do you know?
I didn't care much for the film. And yes, Julia Roberts looked horrible (by design).
Just put on the performances disc from the Monterey Pop set, all the stuff I guess that didn't make it into the movie. There are two songs from Simon and Garfunkel. I know how amazing Simon can be in concert. But the sound of a very young Garfunkel live is like hearing the voice of an angel. And it was just the two of them with Simon on guitar. The songs, Sound of Silence and Homeward Bound, didn't need anything else.
Jrand, I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling chipper and able to resume the theatrical side of your life. I suspect it felt like a long wait.
Sandra got an "Important Tax Document" in the mail today. Uh, she mailed her taxes in already. Kinda late for that, isn't it?
We got one about a month ago. Why is it taking so long?
I think there should be a time deadline that these important documents must be mailed out by, at least, the 1st of April.
There is. I think it's the end of February. In my experience tax documents are often late. I am surprised when I have all of mine by April 1.
But we all receive invitations from AARP when we're in our thirties.
