That little project raised my esteem for the folks who decorate the Tournament of Roses floats about 1000 percent!

;D

Your hotel room looks festive now.

It does, DR Jane, but I'd rather be home to hang the new egg on the tree that's on our piano...

Home vs a hotel in Lima, I completely understand. ;)

Back from stuff - bad news for charts from Broadway Bound - all the band charts are there but not ONE piano/vocal - I may have to change shows now - I'll see what I can gather up from my sources and maybe we can squeak by on BB.

BK, I got your message. I'm sorry I have none of my work between 1980 and 2000 here. It's all sitting in the Library of Congress.  You might contact Todd Ellison about his PC's for the recording.

Had a terrific seder in New Jersey last night.

DR FJL, with a bouncy vamp lead-in, that would be a good opening line for a song.

Great shot DR Cillaliz! You can see the joy in that picture!

That's what I love about it.  She actually let out a squeal of joy.  There's no other way to describe it

Today I splurged and purchased a box of Häagen-Dazs snack size vanilla caramel sundae cones (a crunchy waffle cone lined with rich milk chocolate, filled with creamy Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice cream, drizzled with rich caramel sauce, and topped with roasted almonds).  A drizzle of caramel & no more.  The almonds weren't roasted & I can't/don't eat raw almonds.  The cone was just terrible & tasted stale.

I logged in to Häagen-Dazs to fill out a complaint I was asked for info on the box & realized the expiration date was last November.  No wonder it tasted stale.  I also expect during the recent remodeling at the market the ice cream melted & was refrozen more than once.

I will be returning the box of ice cream.

I'll begin with the best news from DR TCB's friend Sharry:

he just seems so pleased to be out of pain and to feel his limb come alive again.

he looked fantastic...better than I have seen in months.  He's not needing much in the way of pain control and his appetite is decent.

That's terrific!! ;D

Meanwhile, here's twelve minutes of interviews and occasional short glimpses of our last Kritzerland show.

That's wonderful, BK!  Congrats!

We had a cat that could open cabinets & doors.  Thankfully he never opened the frig or freezer.  He did get locked in the frig once & thank G_d I looked in there when he went missing.

John G., thanks for the herbal advice. Mae-Ling always opens my cupboard to see what I have in there. I am trying to get her to understand that I have fresh herbs growing, instead of needing to use dried.

We made chicken and zucchini and yellow squash. She used parsley, thyme, and rosemary (she loves rosemary). Plus Wae-Ling made rissotto.

Sadly, they gave the kids jelly beans and other junk at the church, so they didn't eat much.
