I have a question about Happy Days the Musical:

Is it going to appear on Broadway?

It has been decided. We will go to Long Island (Anthony's parents) for Thanksgiving, probably leaving sometime Wednesday the 26th or if we want to spend extra time, Tuesday evening the 25th.

We then have to return on Sunday November 30th because we begin our annual Volunteer work on Monday, December 1st.

Stephen J. Falat Basket Project

If you're in New York City at that time and have some time to help, please let me know (send me a PM) and I'll give you more specific information. We need all the bodies we can muster to pack over 2,300 gift bags for people with AIDS. The bags go to many different ASOs (AIDS Service Organizations) to provide holiday gifts to people who have little or nothing.

We especially need people on Monday, December 1st. It's the day we set up the packing rooms and unload the deliveries so the more people we have helping the quicker we can unload the truck(s). It's a long day with lots of work but the work is worth it.

This morning I am going birdwatching with several friends. We are going to the same place where the Game Warden and I went fishing recently.

Good morning, all! I have another day at Toyland with edits on the Appendix numbers.  Last night I revised some of my critical notes to conform to decisions/questions made yesterday, and I need to write one more paragraph in the editorial method about courtesy accidentals and editorial choices vs original scores.

After that I may stop by physical therapy to see everyone's Halloween drag. Tonight I hope to watch something scary on DVD, although most of my favorite horror films are in storage on 107th Street. The most horrifying film I have here is A CHORUS LINE, but it's not quite right.

TOD:
DVD:  a couple of Netflix movies including the BBC sereis CRANFORD
CD:  Enchanted Soundtrack, Guy Haines, LAKME with Natalie Dessaye
  VCR:  cheap porn

So, I bought a ticket for the 7:30 Bolt Bus back to NYC. What happens between now and then is TBA/TBD.  ;)

Happy Halloween greetings!  Our drive from Wisconsin yesterday was very smooth until we got stuck in UC football traffic less than 2 miles from Rob's apartment.  That last 2 miles took us about half an hour!

I am back for 2 workdays and it sure seems like Monday.

It was interesting reading the emails on castrecl about being/not being on Kritzerland's mailing lists.  It may be the first time I've read people saying they're bothered about NOT being on someone's mass email list.  :)    Sounds like the people on that list would welcome all mass emails from Kritzerland, so it's good that BK put out the open invite to castrecl people to directly email him in order to get on the Kritzerland list.

Good morning!

Another cold one here (30) but it's warming to 65 today, so that likely means I won't need more than a sweater when I go out on my usual Friday errands later.

I, too, would have no interest in HAPPY DAYS: THE MUSICAL. I was not a fan of the TV series. Yes, I know it was #1 for years, but I never warmed to it, and I certainly never understood the frenzy about Henry Winkler. My taste in comedy was more in the MTM factory productions.

Much like Happy Days, I would rather be chained to the top of the Empire State Building while vultures circle my lifeless body and begin pecking at my flesh than sit through even the credits for Zack and Miri Make a Porno

Thanks to JRand58 and everybody else who offered suggestions or condolences yesterday on my ailing FAX machine.

I tried the suggestions but, unfortunately, none of them worked.

The lights keep flashing, so unless I want to spend more to repair it than it's worth, my FAX is toast.

 :'(

A jaunt over to Costco next week is definitely in order.

I'm not sure what I'll be watching this weekend.

If CHANGELING has gone into multiples, that's a definite.

I have a couple of titles in the new Budd Boetticher/Randolph Scott DVD set that I haven't watched yet, and I'm supposed to be getting a copy of QUO VADIS to review, but that might not arrive until next week.

I've also got several titles in the newest WARNER GANGSTER COLLECTION that I haven't seen.

Druxy you may have legal recourse with your electric company.  Something similar happened to my in-laws and they received a settlement.  Of course there's was really bad--literally all of their appliances (like, refrigerator, oven, etc.) had to be replaced.

Incredibly busy morning here--just enough time to say Hi and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I'm off to go see the Phillies Victory Parade!
