Here's a little photograph from Susan Egan's cabaret show - see if you can identify everyone.

In the Susan photo the two women are - Adryan Russ and Rosalyn Kind.
I think in the Heather photograph you can see the new svelte body despite the loose shirt.
I feel lousy today. The cold that was developing yesterday has not abated. Bleh.
But I don't feel lousy enough to not go in to work.
That's REALLY lousy.
I could be wrong, but I believe Sian Phillips' character in I, CLAUDIUS is named Livia, not Lavinia. The Nancy Marchand character in THE SOPRANOS was named Livia in honor of this monster mother from I, CLAUDIUS, I think.
Oops (spoo spelled backawards) - it was late when I wrote the notes - I meant Livia, of course (otherwise my point makes no sense) and have fixed the notes.
They all disappeared without a post. All right, I've said that I'm a loose cannon - I guess everyone wants me to prove it.
I'm finally at work. My cat threw up last night before I went to bed and then when I woke up, I found that she had thrown up again. I hope it's nothing serious. :o She otherwise doesn't seem sick.
Oh, George....thanks so much for sharing this info with us.
(Maybe it's the heat?)
Can you imagine trying to cast I, Claudius today? Vince Vaughan? That awful actor from Phone Booth who's now a flavor of the month? Brad Pitt? Julia Roberts as Livia? I mean, the mind boggles.
Who could play Caligula now?
My point is they wouldn't make it with Brits today. They wouldn't make it at all today without tarting it up - I mean, Alexander? Gladiator? Troy?Since I, Claudius was a Brit TV production, I don't see why they couldn't still have the same quality as the original, no "tarting." Sure, they might work in some effects shots, for crowds and vistas, that sort of thing, but the quality of acting is still there in England, same as it was.
Miss USA wore the evening gown designed for her by Kayne, one of the Project Runway contestants, in last week's show:
Well, since I am just now watching that episode on NBC...guess I know who wins :(
...What is the link again for your mother's trip. I might have some tips for her. Please tell her we were exceptionally lucky at the glacier & weather wise in general.
Vibes to George's cat. Watch her and make sure she's using her litter box. If not I'd get her to the vet
Jose, you made my day!
If it is any consolation, it's not about who wins on that show as much as who gets the boot. That's always the more entertaining thing to me.
:D
I'm definitely keeping that clip in my bookmarks! It's just sooooo "perfect"!
:)
The choke down part is meant lovingly. I think it hurts me more than it hurts him.
Well, I officially hate July and wish it to be over
I agree with you. July is always a difficult month to endure. So is August.
