IN THE HEIGHTS seems awfully redolent of JRB at times, IMHO.

Question for Everyone:

If you could be on a TV or Radio Game Show (past or present) what show would it be and why?

When I was a little girl and stayed home sick from school  I used to watched a game show (I think it was called Concentration ) that involved having to locate 2 matching prize squares and then solving the puzzle the pictures would show

and I must admit that in the past month I have become addicted to to Deal or No Deal... well addicted isn't really the word, I don't seek it out... but if I run across it on a channel change  I am sucked right in

More good news from DR VIXMOM.

It's just too sad to tell to you
She took seven books of green stamps, too!

IT was Zelda I think, not Golda now I think about it....

Do you own a copy of THE TWISTED NERVE?

I know in the notes you mention that the intro may have been publicity - but I remember a few news stories at the time of its release that talked about doctors being outraged at the premise....

Yes, DR VIXMOM, it was My Zelda....

She found her big romance
When I broke the zipper in my pants.......

That tailor really hurt my pride
He made my lapels in inch too wide.....

{{{{{DR Vixmom}}}}}

About your cabinet - we've had quite an epidemic of cabinet crashes in my family lately.  Before Christmas, the corner of our dining room hutch was bumped ever-so-slightly and a glass plate that was standing against the back crashed forward, breaking some glassware and scaring the daylights out of the person involved (name withheld to protect the embarrassed).  Then, my niece in Illinois had one of her kitchen cabinets come crashing down in an event that could have hurt her, but, fortunately, did not.  Then, just the other day, a shelf in my mom's corner cupboard came off its support and crashed on the shelf below.  I'm glad you were able to take preventive measures yesterday!

I gave my love a chicken without a bone
I gave my love a cherry without a stone
I gave my love a baby and then you see

My love got very angry and she said to me

I didn't mind the chicken without the bone
I didn't mind the cherry without the stone
But when you give a baby there's just one thing

You ought to give at least an engagement ring

Back from Toyland and the market; now the laundry's in the washers and I'm about to begin a few more edits.

All quiet at the moment, which is fine with me.

I do have a region 2 DVD of Twisted Nerve and wrote about it when I got it - I watched it again prior to writing the CD liner notes.

Oh my goodness, I am glad no one was hurt.

That was actually Vixdad's take on it as well, he blamed himself for not noticing that the cabinect was hanging below its neighbor and taking action himself

and how do you like it?   I have 2 all tile floors, I linolium floor and the rest of the downstairs is hardwood.  I think a steam mop might make sense for me but I didn't want to invest the $$ for a fad that didn't work ....

I am a sucker for those infomercials though the only product we actually have is the Magic Bullet and that was because the Vixter convinced Vixdad to get it for me for Christmas a couple of years ago - I must admit we do use it just about everyday - but it doesn't do a thing for my floors!

It's not a mop.

It's a steamer, and I do like it.  I use it on my appliances (great on grease buildup) and windows.

I'm supposing I could do the long jog right now and get it over with, since this initial phase is going to at least take an hour.
