DR George, if you didn't know that UGLY BETTY and GREY'S ANATOMY were going to be reruns, it wasn't due to my lack of trying. I posted that information yesterday morning. I've been trying to do this regularly since we're in the period right now where programs occasionally insert a new episode amid mostly reruns.

This week, I've found some thing new every night to watch though my DVR has been given mostly a break the last few weeks since sweeps month ended.

For news of tonight's slate of shows, see next post!

Matt, it's not your fault, at all.  As soon as you posted this above, I did remember your original post.  I just wasn't paying attention. ::) I watched "Medium" and really enjoyed that.

The NBC and CBS slates are ALL NEW episodes tonight, so that means new episodes of GHOST WHISPERER, CLOSE TO HOME, NUMBERS, RAINES, and LAW & ORDER. (The new game show IDENTITY is also a new episode but I don't remember anyone here saying they watch it.)

ABC's shows for the first two hours are reruns. I assume 20/20 is new.

Fox has a HOUSE rerun and a new WEDDING BELLS (is this the last episode they're going to show?) on the schedule.

Of all of these titles, I only watch "Ghost Whisperer" and "Raines." It'll be a light night of TV watching. :)

It never ceases to amaze me that there are still people who don't have the most rudimentary computer skills - I just helped a guy who didn't even know the keyboard.

There are some folks who simply refuse to have a computer in their homes.

My kitchen is now a tasteful, yet boring, shade of light pale blue.

That would be lovely with brushed chrome appliances, DR DearReaderLaura.

And new Corian countertops (which will have to wait) instead of 40-year-old tile.

Well, Le Creuset just introduced their new "Carribean" color.

I have a question for MattH:

Will white tile around the tub/shower show less ick from hard water?

Well, the word "boring" was used a lot in the reviews for both shows. :-\

I certainly remember "that" aspect of "Lestat"...except for the scenes with Claudia!

Hmmmm....there ARE folks out there who would LOVE to get their hands on your 40-year-old tile.

Perhaps you should consult some local designers to see if there is any interest in offsetting your Corian costs by selling your existing counter tiles.

DR edisaurus - Congrats on the added screening dates?  Are you and/or Peter planning on attending all of them?

Oh... And at this point and time, could your documentary be considered for an Academy Award nomination?  Or was it part of last year's possible nominees?

If I can get away I might try to go to Columbus because I have fmaily there. I also have a friend in Chicago, but I think my wallet will be hurting by then!

As far as Academy Awards, our last film was on the Oscar short list so we've been through the process. When we premiered this film and were subsequently turned down by our own Atlanta  festival, we started to feel like it didn't stand a chance. It just doesn't seem like an award type film, just one that needed to be made.

The Oscar thing involves making a film print, renting a theatre in NY and LA and would have cost us $6,000 that we didn't have, so we made the join decision to not even try.

A serious English usage question:

A google search seems to indicate that "at this point and time" and "at this point in time" are both correct idioms.  What I can't find is whether they are interchangeable or if they meant different things.

Can anyone explain?

I did "The Book Report" number from CHARLIE BROWN in drag.  (It was an all-boy's camp, emphasis on camp.)  That sounds close.

In a surprising twist to a recent local news story:

2nd DUI test shows chief's daughter under limit

A second test following the arrest of (name removed to protect the alleged guilty and also so she won't find this in case she googles herself), daughter of the Scottsdale police chief, showed her blood-alcohol content was 0.072 percent, just below Arizona's 0.080 percent presumed level of intoxication....

Had a good afternoon of viewing even though I wasn't very impressed with ANDY BARKER, P.I., once again. Everyone in the cast plays characters who are are clueless, and the constant ineptitude they show just gets wearying over a half hour show. They're all likeable actors, but nebbish characters can only go so far on a weekly series without some kind of variety.

singdaw, presuming I finish the book this week, read it, am happy with it, and presuming my muse likes the final seventy pages or so, then the book would come out sometime in September or October.

We may all be able to see Miss Priscilla do the weather. At the KTIV Web site they are streaming the weatherman right now.

KTIV Home Page.

I've bookmarked the site and plan to return on April 16th at just before 1pm (EDT), since Priscilla will be on at noon, (CDT).

Hoo and Ray!

I think those are actually recorded messages that they replay and not the real weather forecast.  If I have any knack at all for this, I'll ask them if I can do the web spot for the day.  Dave Winslow is the guy on there now. He's the guy who is going to work with me.

I have white tile around my tub/shower, and we have hard water here, and I have no ick problem.

Had a nice rehearsal today - Merissa's voice is still shot, but we continued doing the detail work and then ran the show - and she picks up very fast - and when she sticks to what we've done and commits to it, it's really good, so the more she gets it in her head, the sharper, tighter, and better it will be.

I must now write.

Thanks, MattH.

We had an apartment once with dark tile, and the hard water left a white film on it, which needed to be de-icked very very often.
