Another reason why BK is the best record producer around today:

Another label (that records a lot but often waits months or years to release some of their recordings) just released a new recording by a Tony-winning singer whose two previous solo CDs were produced by BK.  The selections are all well sung though a little more pedestrian than some of the selections on the BK recordings.  On both the back of the jewel box and the insert there is a listing of conductors who conducted tracks by someone other than the main conductor, including a listing for Track 16... except there are only 15 tracks on the CD.  I e-mailed the producer whose reply was that it had been pointed out to the printer and he was unaware it had not been corrected!  This is something that would never happen on a BK-produced CD.

By the way for the topic of the day, my two favorite songs cut from shows or from little known songs are "Where Do I Go From Here? cut from FIORELLO (a beautifulk song but wrong for the character and situation in the show) and COLLETTE'S "The Room Is Filled With You".  These are two of the most beautiful songs ever written.

My OPERATION CROSSBOW DVD arrived today, but the package says FULLSCREEN.  I was certain it was going to be WideScreen.  I hope the package is wrong, but I am glad to have the movie anyway.

Gosh it depends on the girl singers.  Do you have Googie Grant singing THE WAYWARD WIND?

She may speak fluent Pelican.

I was never too sure about that accent! Lindy was from New Zealand. (or at least had lived there for some time).

So you're giving up the Longbow at last Jack. Do these DVD "How to" manuals really work?

Oh, and that's an excellent idea, TCB.  I'm already writing a new one and we'll open it next week.  And there'll be a new one every week thereafter - in that way, I shall drive all the LA critics to certain madness.

I love that idea, BK.  Maybe all the LA critics will move to Guatamala.

Speaking of music from JRand, I got a slew of it yesterday! Muchas gracias!
Women singers like Doris Day, Patsy Cline, Gisele MacKenzie, Mavis Rivers and Rosie Clooney, and Annette of course. Plus a couple Alison Hayes films to study.

Excellent, my good man.
