DR JRand61, I liked ONCE UPON A TIME a lot. From what I've read, there seems to be little similarity between this show and GRIMM, which I also look forward to. GRIMM seems to be a supernatural-like detective series involving fairy tale monsters while ONCE UPON A TIME, which takes place in a town called Storyb(r)ook, Maine, is about the fantasy kingdom of Snow White and her Prince cursed and trapped in American suburbia by the wicked queen. So, are the flashbacks to Pinocchio, Gepetto, Snow White, etc. the reality or fantasy of a 10 year-old boy who might be Pinocchio. Is Emma Swan really the daughter of Snow White and the Prince and the one to save them all? Of course, the answer is yes, but the obstacle is that no one remembers who they were in a previous reality, the wicked queen who's the mayot of Storybrook might since she's evil incarnate, even though their current lives mirror their fantasy ones. The cast is game and good. I wish it well.
You can catch the pilot on abc.com, I think.
