Of course it matters! Both are correct.

Qibblers may take a preference depending on whether the verb is used in the transitive or non-transitive sense: they wove a tapestry, they weaved through traffic

Ah, well in that case, Killbot weaved, not wove.

Had a yummilicious Wolgang Puck chicken casear, and I got some fruit for later.

As soon as I finished eating I sat on my couch like so much fish and probably dozed off, only to be awakened two minutes later by the ringing of the telephonic device.

TPunk, you must audition, you must get the role, and then I shall come in to see the production and we shall have quite the NY gathering.

That would be lovely!

I hope this doesn't stick you with a lot of unexpected extra work.

Nope...I'm totally out of that loop. :)

Possibly without warning....but what about provocation?

;D

No, what is going around is that she said that her kids are out of school today and she doesn't get to spend enough time with them, so she's leaving.  And that was it!

Hmm maybe I am out of step with the rest of the world. I decided to go back to work on Monday. When I have too much to do and no time to do it, it all gets done, when I have things to do and lots of time to do them, I don't get anything done. LOL...

Well my old house is now someone elses! Yeah.   I was lucky to get rid of it this quickly. I heard about another decent house that's been on the market for over a year.  One less thing to worry about. Hoo and Ray

I was up coughing most of the night. Yuck. I finally took some codine cough syrup and it knocked me out for a good 6 hours.  Feeling ok today, but I know it will be back tonight.

The Cat show sounds interesting. May have to check it out.   When I leave town I turn the tv on to Animal Planet so the cats can watch while I'm gone.

PS Just bought a copy of a re-worked version of my favorite childhood book, now titled "Sam and the Tigers". The illustrations are close to the originals; although our heroes complexion has lightened over time, his blue pants, red coat and green umbrella are still intact. The story still ends happily ever-after with pancakes covered in tiger-butter.

I had a book-and-record edition of this when I was a kid (in Germany in 1972 or so) and even then the kid was very much a white kid.  It was called "Little Brave Sambo."  And I actually I found a picture on-line!  I'd forgotten that the kid was actually a redhead!

Speaking of a NY gathering.  The DP will be in NYC July 2 and 3 and July 8 and 9.  I'll keep you posted on our intinerary.  I know we want to hit some bakerys and such.  I want to see a show or three, but at the moment, I have no interest in anything on the boards.

I've tried about six of them.  So far, so good.  :)

And how many of their locations will we visit on our next HHW eating/walking tour?

For Dan the Man:

Coming to the Academy in January:

Matthew Bournes "Edward Scissorhands"

With both Spamalot and Pippin the the mix, we might just buy season tickets to "Broadway at the Academy".

der Brucer

I did see this (along with the amazing Kimmel Center season.)  But I'v never been one for buying subscription tickets.  I would like to see PIPPIN again, though.

My question for Ask HHW day is- As the current trends in musical theater are "jukebox musicals" and "movie musicals" what do folks think the next trends will be?

Reality musicals.

And there were plans at one time for a reality show set in Vegas to find a star for Jerry Herman's MISS SPECTACULAR.

Here is a good website telling about the sorts of things a vision statement should include. If you want to write one and pm it to me, I'd be happy to look it over.

I was thinking something like: Accuracy not guaranteed.

"Roadrunner" - a Philip Glass musical
"George of the Jungle"

Coming in 2007:
ANCIENT CHINESE SECRET: THE CALGON MUSICAL
