I have lived the majority of my life in Washington State; and yet, today had to be one of the dreariest days (weather-wise) that I can ever remember.  One of my co-workers looking out the window of her cubbicle put it best when she said it looked like a black and white photo.

Sometimes I think my attempts at increasing the post total may be the reason we don't have more new members.

You need a big photo of a bright sunny day you can look at when it's dreary out

Last night, I stayed up and watched HAWAII 5-0.  It was shown right after the NFL game finished, so for me it wasn't that late.

I have a better solution - I don't have any windoiws near my cubicle.

Increasing postal count sounds like sending a bigger stack of mail to the post office

Post, not postal!  There is a difference.

There's a musical revue called Waiter, There's a Slug In My Latte (the distinctly Seattle musical) that has a song called, "Colorful Shades of Gray."  It's actually a lovely song. :)

That means I can go post, and still not go postal.

Hi, DR Cillaliz!

I've been sitting here keeping an eye on DS Rob, who drove back from Michigan today and is now showing signs of a flu-like illness  :P

He's not going to firefighter school tomorrow...

No, but I got the cast recording on cassette years ago through Interlibrary Loan and made a copy of it...I eventually made a CD of that.  I should still have it...if it's still in my garage.

I am watching "I Am Love" with a great Tilda Swinton performance. Not the best made movie in the world. The direction is too limp in spots, but her performance is arresting.

My friend Patsy sends me every virus hoax that she receives.  And each ttime I explain that it is a hoax, and send her the web address for snopes.com.

Last week she sent me one that said that snopes.com confirms this rumor.  Except when I went to snopes.com, it said the rumor was Untrue!
