Well, you've read the notes, the notes were raging and a headache, and now it is time for you to post until the raging cows come home.

Maybe Sherlock should go to college:

BK, I've been trying to think of a question to ask, but I can't think of anything. :-\ So, I'm going to go to sleep.  Good night. :)

And I'll have all my spiffy new LP transfers to listen to - which is the fun part after all the work.  I haven't heard these LPs in years, if ever, and I don't really listen while they're going into the computer, so the listening experience is nice and fresh.  And most of them sound very good.

But before I go (speaking of transfering LPs), I won this from eBay and it just arrived in the mail yesterday (and it looks like it's in great condition!):

I'm going to take it to work today to scan the cover (we have a photocopier that's also a scanner!) and then print it at home (which we're not allowed to do at work).  Then, I'll record it to my computer to make a CD from it.  I don't have the ION turntable, just a regular record player that's hooked up to my computer with RCA cables.  My sister's boyfriend built my computer and installed a .wav file recorder that I've learned how to use. :)

And the word of the day is: CANOROUS!
Henri loved to go to the Moulin Rouge because he found the can-can CANOROUS.

I am up way too early.

I am up way too early because I'm scheduled to start work at six in the felixin' morning today.

Oh, what a felixin' morning,
Oh, what a felixin' day.
I've got a felixin' feeling -
Stay out of my felixin' way
(On a musical stage, this won't play).

That just about sums it up.

But actually expecting to see this:

Won't they be surprised!    8)

I'm seeing Sunday in the Park this evening. I saw that tickets were available on TDF for Next to Normal but they were for today so I won't be seeing it (at least not yet).

In other news, the old computer is up and running and everything seems good. I got my credits for the returned goods I sent to Gateway and since everything seems to be OK I went ahead and ordered the new computer.

According to tracking it should be delivered sometime today! Since I'll be going to the theatre tonight I won't be setting it up until tomorrow.

It's a Dell with Windows XP. I've just heard too many bad stories about Vista so I decided to stay with XP (Service Pack 2). We have many programs that do not work with Vista. I know this because friends use the same programs and they bought a new computer with Vista pre-installed and all the old programs don't work and there are no patches available. Their printer and scanner also don't work with Vista and the patches don't work!

Once I get the new system up and running we will take the old one out to Long Island and set it up for Anthony's mother.

Vixmom, could you send me a PM or an e-mail with the amount I owe for the cookies and I'll send you a check. I know I ordered 3 boxes but I forget how much they cost (Oy, I'm getting old).
