I'm very happy that I saw SUCH GOOD FRIENDS tonight. I sat with DR Ben and Anthony and sat directly in front of Mr & Mrs Larry Goldberg. I thought Noel's show had a lot of wonderful moments, especially the McCarthy hearings in Act Two, and a wonderful cast. Liz Larsen seems to never leave the show, although I know she did at least once, and she's got a wonderful crew surrounding her. There are some wonderful musical numbers and some very funny throw-away numbers like the alarm clock commercial. It was also nice to see our bass player from "The Brain" playing the show.
My plan was to take the 104 bus to Lincoln Center and transfer to the No. 11 but the bus was going so slowly so I decided to take the subway at Broadway and 66th. As I got to the subway I thought, that's Tuc Watkins, and it was! So I said to him, the last time I saw you was in the post office on 83rd; I thought you were in LA now. He said that he was but he was back doing a few ONE LIFE TO LIVE episodes. He looked great, and he's such a sweetie. I think his apartment's around the corner from mine.
