Good Mor... Well, Good Afternoon!

I let myself have a nice lazy morning listening to the radio, and the extra rest seems to have helped.  I realized that even though I was technically "off" yesterday, I didn't take the day off.  Lots of walking, lots of shopping, lots of walking.  The extra hour or two staying off my feet this morning was much needed.  -And after staying up relatively late last night too...

Now I'm about to "get domestic", and then run an errand or two...  but before I go...

The internet at the office (and all over NYC for those who use Time Warner) has been down all day and just came up.

I was never a fan of TWILIGHT ZONE or ONE STEP BEYOND.  I guess I couldn't have spent Friday nights with Benjamin.

It was a very exciting moment for me when I made the rabbi/cousin connection. :D

DR Jane,

It was very exciting for Jeff, as well - and especially exciting for me. Now let's see how the rabbi reacts. Betsy or Jeff will be taking the next step - passing along my greetings and e-mail address. (My cousin and I had very close family ties when we were young. I adored his mom (my aunt), and he was very close to mine. However, I think it's about 30 years since we last saw each other.)

BTW, you write very well. And your photographs are great. And you make the very nicest connections. I can't say anything about your dimples, though.

Tomovoz you became a God while I wasn’t looking-CONGRATULATIONS!
if you like Pat Conroy, read THE BRIDGE by Doug Marlette.  Are your new books about a Ladies Detective Agency?

Danise test a foam bed in the store-I did and it killed my back within minutes.  Instead we got an air mattress, for me.  Keith likes it & I’m not thrilled.  On the plus side it is light weight and easy to lift when making the bed.

Stuart thank you for your sweet compliment.
I agree with you, the episodes that didn’t scare me were the best.  When my brain begins to function again I will remember which episodes those were.  Someone just solved my problem... :D

Michael Shayne thank you for the list!  LITTLE GIRL LOST is one of my two favorite Twilight Zone episodes.  My other favorite is TWO with Elizabeth Montgomery and Charles Bronson.  I always enjoyed THE FUGITIVE very much.

Dan-in-Toronto making connections is sooo much fun and thanks.  I feel like I need to meet your cousin now. :)

For Big Brother fans the America's Choice winner has left to go do Y&R.

Someone here might be happy.

But I won't say who. :)

There are multiple reasons why I had very little sleep this weekend.  Sleeping on a little air mattress didn’t help nor did my son’s two little nocturnal Sugar Gliders climbing all over me.  Except when they gave my toes love bites (socks solved that problem) I really enjoyed them.   :)

Here's that sliver of George Eads that I promised.  He was cut off the left hand side of the picture.

My TV was acting a bit nutty this afternoon (without any help from me). I smell a repairman probably having to come check things out. Argh!  It's less than two years old!

I spent over two hours with the dentist this morning. Four x-rays (they only charged for one) until they got exactly what they were looking for. I glow in the dark now.

Those Sugar Gliders are scary little critters. Perhaps once you know them personally, so to speak, their sweetness becomes apparent.

Oh....I thought someone was posting a pic of a TZ episode, but it was the HHW Gang NW Charter Division.

JMK what kind of face are you making?

Yes the tumbling tumbleweeds co-starred June Havoc with Eddie Albert....but that's all I remember.

I resemble that remark!   ;)

It was, I believe, a function of me leaning over and attempting to keep BeeGee in the chair while at the same time coaxing Gabe to push the correct button.  Then again, it could just be the way my face looks.  Blame G-d.

Why is everyone confusing you, Tom, for François who, as it turns out, became a God in the past several days???

Do you believe yourself to be so closely associated with François that you two seem to be interchangeable?????

:D  LOL

I don't know......

BK:  I forgot to ask the other day when you mentioned the sublime Paul Desmond:  do you have The Gerry Mulligan/Paul Desmond Quartet and/or Bridge Over Troubled Waters CDs--one from the very beginning of his career, and one from the end, and both totally incredible.

Matt H your welcome.  I had even more fun taking the pictures.

Panni, scary?  They are soft and sweet and run up and down you with their soft little feet that tickle.  They also run up and down walls or simply up prior to leaping back down to the floor.  At night they cuddled with me for briefs moments before tearing around again.  One night it sounded as if they were playing hockey with something.  In the morning I discovered I had dropped a cellophane wrapped hard candy on the floor. LOL

Jennifer does that answer your second question? ;D

Sugar Gliders are marsupials that glide (like a flying squirrel) and like sweet foods.  They are only scary when they are scared, at which time they make a horrendous noise.  Mostly they are quiet.  Sometimes they make little clicking noises to express they are happy or little barking noises when they want the other one to come play.  For a little more information… http://www.skinhorse.net/gliders/
