Are any of the voracious readers here aware of www.shelfari.com?

Hmm, looks similar to Library Thing.  I'll have to explore some more - thanks, DR td!

Will we never get to page ten?

Not unless you click your heels together three times and say, "We will get to page 10! We will get to page 10! We will get to page 10!"

Hey, Larry!  Are the women with fried eggs on their heads out on the streets yet?

Uh, the ladies with fried eggs on their foreheads generally don't come out until September. . .or. . .October. . . .

But it's been so hot and humid lately...I thought...perhaps...

I thought BK hired them for the chorus of THE BRAIN.

I think they've moved to Tacoma.  Or 42nd Street.

And I am only partially recovered from the emotional ordeal of watching "The Way We Were" for the first time in years.

Oh, man....what a movie!

I've never seen COLD CASE before.  It's like FOLLIES with a murder mystery. Excellent cast, and good writing.

I'm either going to watch "What's Up, Doc" or "Barefoot in the Park" next.

I need some laughter.

There is a fascinating feature on the DVD of "The Way We Were" of "the making of..."

For the first time, I saw scenes that were excised from the film (looking in great shape, too)...scenes I'd heard about for years...scenes that clarified many things, including why Hubbell and Katie divorced.

Great stuff.

And for me, there's never been as poignant an ending to a love story as in this film.

Re TWWW....I've had this "Special Edition" DVD since it was released YEARS ago, but today is the first time I actually put in the player and watched.

It's a great anamorphic transfer.

I realize that I live on the West Coast, and that it isn't quite 7:00 p.m.; but I am going to take my mass doses (a Catholic reference) of medications and go to bed - because I can!

Good night.

Interesting. I wasn't aware Netflix had any customer service whatsoever. All I've experienced are very limited options. But I heartily welcome this change. REAL customer service! Will wonders never cease?
