This is an area that was devastated by a wildfire a couple of years ago. Many saguaros were burned or had died and fallen over. I have never seen so many cactus skeletons (of all kinds) in one place. The wildflowers are the first things to come back after a fire.

My big news of the day is that I went and bought my bed today. It's not the name brand but the very same thing. I got the adjustable type which I think I dearly needed.

Oh, and it's a full size. I measured and my room just couldn't handle a queen sized bed. I'm a little disapointed about that but it is what it is.

Well, I'm sure Bear will love the new bed when it gets here. I know that I just couldn't take the old one anymore.

Since I got my breathing machine, I've been sleeping on my back and it's been killing me. I could hardly make it to the edge of the bed this morning. I decided that enough was enough.

But sometimes you just have to do it. I think you may have the same bad habits that I have. Like wanting a roof over my head and food in the fridge.

Of course, I have two dogs to support. Lord help me if I ran out of dog food!
