Greetings from the Amherst Library! Joseph has about three hours of photocopying and then we head back. I had a great day after finishing my research: Iwent to the student union snack bar and I visited the Music Dept Library, which was interesting with some fascinating opera and ballet scores, both piano-vocal and orchestral. Today, since I can't help Joseph with his research into George M Cohan, I will be editing the WIZARD OF OZ orchestra score.
It was snowing when we checked out of the hotel and the desk clerk told us it was supposed to snow about 4 inches. Since most of the 3-hour ride back is on highways, I think we will be okay. If all goes well, we should be out of here by 1 pm and in Manhattan between 4 and 5 pm. Once home, I have to finish my BROADWAY FIGHTS AIDS chart and begin the copying tomorrow for Friday's rehearsal. It's long: 220+ bars.
DR Dakotacelt, I am so sorry to hear about the water damage. When I get back, I'll see what celtic vendors I can locate and send you addresses and phone info. Also, check for some of your titles on eBay and abebooks.com - you never know what may turn up!
Thank you all for the travel vibes! See you back in Manhattan!
