Was Rachel York in Brent's KISS ME KATE?

Yes, she's on the DVD, too.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

I just returned from seeing GRAVITY in 3D.  And it was okay.  The performances are fine, Sandra Bullock and George Clooney are a nice pair....

If you think you MIGHT like it, you probably will.

Not exactly a rave. Jack.  I have heard from others that it is visually stunning.

I really want to see this movie, especially in 3D.

I agree with DR Ginny - the Kindles that are readers are definitely NOT good as all-purpose tablets. The Fire line, I understand, is better for that - but probably still not as good as an Android or Windows or iPad tablet.

My Kindle died many months ago.  I don't really see any point in replacing it, when I can use my Ipad for everything.

Ever since I saw that Rachel York was playing Reno in ANYTHING GOES, I kept trying to figure out where I knew her name.  It was the KISS ME KATE DVD.

I saw that Amazon had the Kindle Fires on sale today, but too much money for me.

Strange day today.  I didn't do much besides watch fottball, go and pick up my laundry, and dine at Sonic.  I doubt I will be returning again, except possibly to try their breakfast burritos.

I have lunches booked for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (so far).  I must think I am made of money.  Perhaps I should start suggesting getting together for coffee instead.

You're not buying for everyone, are you??  You have to tell them that you need to go Dutch!

Finished with my viewing and listening to music after a nice telephonic conversation with Barry Pearl.

She was also in the Broadway production of Victor/Victoria with Julie Andrews.  I saw that in New York and thought that she (Rachel) was fantastic!  Julie was pretty darned good, too.  She certainly deserved the Tony nomination, but I was so disappointed that Rachel wasn't nominated, as well.

Wow...didn't see that coming!  I'm halfway through the last episode of "Broadchurch" and they just revealed the killer.

That was a very good show.  It was not like any American procedural drama...and that's a good thing.

Earlier tonight, I recorded a show on TCM's Silent Sunday, "Traffic In Souls."  Here's a very short description:

Quote
White slavers force unsuspecting women to join a prostitution ring.

It was made in 1913...100 years ago...and it still exists!  That's pretty cool!
