Well, you've read the notes, the notes were outside the comfort zone, and now it is time for you to post until the comfortable cows come home.

SingaSong, you saw my friend Sally Wingert as Fräulein Schneider. She's an amazing actor. She was at the Guthrie for 25 years until they stopped signing actors for full seasons. Most of her work has been in Minnesota but she's been on Broadway, she went to London with La Bete and she's been in other regional theatres around the country.

Nice notes.....

I do not have a Brazil or Unique in my show, but we do have Yunzhu, Jazmine, Torine, YaTing, Krizza, and Oley.

Good morning, all.

Internet (Comcast) went out late last night as I was getting back here to ketchup.  TV, too, a total outage, which is unusual.  Glad they got it all back up while I was getting my beauty sleep.

Oy.  Need more of the latter.

Coffee!

TOD:

Singing by myself onstage:

Camelot when I played Mordred....but "The Seven Deadly Virtues" can be talk/sung
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum when I played Hysterium...."I'm Calm" is not exactly difficult...and then the duet on "Lovely" with Pseudolus.....

The Drowsy Chaperone as the Man in the Chair ... who ends the show by singing about 16 measures of "As We Stumble Along" alone and then another four with Beatrice Stockwell.

In all of the shows....some nights were better than others....but it is what it is.

Good morning, all! After several vivid dreams this week, I have no memory of any dreams from last night. I did sleep well.

In the next hour or so, i will begin my trek to Toyland. I need to print a copy of the new "Christmas Up The Holler" script, and scan and send the 2nd part of the choral arrangement to the conductor of the Cincinnati chorus. I also need to pick up a vocal score of ROERTA for the accompanist who will play our rehearsals.

Tomorrow, I begin my 2013 IRS prep work. It will be a week I hate.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Good Weekend Vibes for Everyone! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the show went very well and we got a standing ovation from the small and most appreciative audience. The cast after only a handful of rehearsals exceeded my expectations. Although I almost had to step in for an actor who overslept and made it to the theater with 15 minutes to spare after missing the cue to cue tech.
She is, indeed! Enjoyed her performance immensely. The only actor who got a louder hand was Tyler Michaels as the Emcee - a twenty-four year old with a maturity and grace way beyond his years.
Which version of this poor corrupt show did they do?
And I am off to Toyland!
The Marshall/Mendes revival version (with the movie songs interpolated).
I've been up since six - didn't get to sleep till two.  Too much garlic last night is playing havoc and causing heartburn.
And I forgot that she of the Evil Eye is here this morning.  So, I'll be leaving in an hour or so.  I did write a page and a half already, and wrote down quite a few little things for later in the book
