Since Jrand has received broken leg vibes in abundance, I'll just wait to hear how it went and tell him that I enjoyed the photos. Some very nice shots!

Since Sunday is usually a low-posting day, I'll bore you all with my meager "news."

I slept better last night. Sleeping is difficult because of the rash, and I wake up frequently, but at least I got some sleep between the wake-ups.

My doctor has asked me to keep the rash bandaged, which is much tougher than it sounds, as much of it is in back. I'm not all that good at doing things in a mirror. And, theoretically, I'm supposed to be wearing gloves. Ugh. I haven't mastered that part yet.

DR Ginny, it looks as though the reading of "Christmas Up The Holler" at the York will be some time between April 14 and 25th. Those are the dates that DJ proposed and we're waiting for the York to settle on something.

Thanks for the update, DR Elmore.  I figured the first week in April was a little soon, but we'll be there after attending a wedding in Philadelphia on March 29.  I'm so glad this is developing for you!

Shingles affects your stomach, too, and I haven't wanted to eat much. Since I wish to lose another ten pounds (I lost ten already), I figure it'll at least help the weight loss. Sometimes it's difficult to see a positive side to things, but I find that it helps if I can.

DR Jeanne, I hope this bodes good and that the improvement continues!

I just opened an envelope from my friend Charlie Harmon, who's been cleaning up the estate of my friend Dale Kugel who died in late November, and a financial gift from Dale landed in my lap. It was completely unexpected, but it will clear all of my financial obligations of December and January and leave me a small amount to help me get through February.

Thank you, Larry. I appreciate all the support the DRs having been giving me.

What a nice little windfall! I'm very pleased for you! Maybe there's a few dollars in there for a little treat, too?

Done about three and a half pages so far, so time for break one and some food.  Maybe I'm not feeling like making anything here, but not sure yet.  I think I do have some pasta here if I wanted to rustle up some of that.  But I'll eat too much of it, that's the problem.  Maybe I'll just get a patty melt or something fun.

DR George, interesting about Weston but a shame he couldn't keep his family name.

I know...you'd think he would've just added his middle name or initial.  Vanessa L. Williams is the former Miss America and sometimes has to use her middle name because there already was a Vanessa Williams in SAG or Equity.

The two Williams women immediately came to my mind.

Today's notes remind me of the song BK wrote:

Superman is Dead

About George Reeves suicide (or murder)

Does anyone know how I can post a mp3 so I can share it?

It is a favorite of mine.

DR Chas how lucky you are to have a photo and memory of your great grandfather.  I didn't even know my grandfather's and don't even have a single photo of one of them.

I shall soon be on my way to the opening matinee of Achilles/Achilles Son.....at 1 p.m. followed by a gala in the Great Hall....hopefully I will be home by 6 p.m.

If the FRIGID COLD weather predicted for Monday and Tuesday closes the campus, our performances are also canceled, so who knows how many of the four we will actually get to do....

OUCH!   :P

Anyway, I am off to the opening.  Pray for Rosemary's baby.

Too late for pre-show vibes, but hope it went well, Jack!

Got an invite to see a high school production of "Bonnie and Clyde" this afternoon. I guess there's always a first time to see a Frank Wildhorn musical. At least I like much of the score of this one.

It's already available for high schools?  That was quick.
