I spent last evening sitting with my friend in the ER after her husband was rushed by ambulance to the hospital. His second heart surgery in a month.

Jennifer thanks for the reminder.  Since I last checked "Fear Nothing" is available.  I put a hold on it using Keith's account and am 55th on the queue with 4 copies owned by the library.

DR Cilla good luck finding a doctor you like, and with the test results.  I've done that 48 hour test.  I agree you likely won't find anything wrong.  Don't be put off by a new doctor putting your info into the computer.  I actually find it more sufficient. Of course your doctor should have pre-ordered the tests if you are already a patient.  If you go to a labfor bloodwork ask to sign a form for the results to be sent to you.

I slept for 3 nights in a row and only read half of my 450 page book.  Tonight I finished the beautifully written The Gift of Rain by Tan Twan Eng.

Good morning, all! I was in bed by 9:30 last night, and I slept really well. By 6:15am I was nodding, waiting for the alarm to ring at 6:30. I had long back-to-Drama-Book-Shop dream that was quite vivid, although the shop in the dream looked more like the set from The Son of Frankenstein with all those weird steps. Most of the dream was about inventory, getting acclimated to working there again, the owners Rozanne and Arthur, and a few loony customers.

I will shortly head back down to Toyland: I've got two of the Collegians showing up for their ROBERTA materials, and sometime between 10:00am and noon, Scot my piano tuner will arrive.  I've got the Act Two Piano/Conductor score of JUBILEE to print, and both acts of the vocal score to bind. I also need to replace some water damaged pages of my ROBERTA recording score.

DR slingshot, great news about the job! I knew you could pass the singing, but I was really worried about the mental exam.

DR Laura, I am sorry to hear about your friend. Let us know how things go.

DR cillaliz, best of luck with the doctor search!

DR vixmom, how are you feeling this morning?

BK, I hope the Abner candidate works out!

Morning, all!

The mystery track has a familiar sound to it, but I'm not placing it at all. Something in it reminded me of "Juno," for some reason. Sounds nice, though.

Medical vibes for Cilla, Laura's friend, and all those in need of 'em.

DR Elan, Edith Hamlton's Mythology was my Bible in junior high and high school! I really loved Rockwell Kent's illustrations, too!  I should look for a good hardcover copy.

And I am off to Toyland!

I couldn't play the mystery sound clip (or Donald Feltham's Broadway Radio Hour) in Chrome, but they all work in Internet Explorer.   Go figure.

Have no idea about the mystery sound clip, but it sounds like it comes from the good old romantic golden-age era.
