I will soon be off to meet my DWTS partner.  I hope I get someone good or at least someone FUN....which is even more important.

Vibes for that to happen!

Here's a bit more detail about the "live orchestra" West Side Story movement. I'll be attending with the Minnesota orchestra at the end of the month.

TOD:

Two things I hate, hate, hate:

Men wearing baggy pants that sag in the seat...sagging to the extent that they can hardly walk.

In relation, the trend of some men wearing their pants below their ass cheeks with nothing but a belt and a bit of anatomy to keep them from sliding past their knees.

It's ridiculous.  Ludicrouse.  Grotesque!

They want you to click on the link - that's what it's about.  Once you do that, they have access to your computer.

I figured it was that or to let a virus in. They've been using every major law firm on record to get to me.

I will never understand the function or comfort of this thug fashion, much less the mentality of the fools who wear it.

Think I'll go see if I have any packages.  Then I'm doing stuff, then going late to a dinner party this evening.  I ate a chili, cheese and onion omelet, no potatoes, and some tap tap tapioca pudding.  That's it for this day.

When did I pass 21,000?   Is that considered a milestone?

I came home this afternoon to find another mouse in the trap. I'm averaging one a day now.

TOD:

In addition to the other atrocities mentioned already, I would have to add platform shoes for men. Unless you are a Soul Train dancer, you should not even attempt this.

I would like to see real shorts for me to come back. Not the ones that are like running shorts that barely cover your butt, but shorts that are two or three inches above the knee.

Here's a fun oddity:

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=179100492268687

That is pretty funny!  I took off my glasses so that I couldn't focus on the dancers' faces, only the weirdly placed heads.  That made the effect even more freaky. ;)

Since I have the original JEEPERS CREEPERS, I think I will pass on this one.....can't decide....  I do recommend it to anyone who doesn't have it, though.  It's a terrific CD!!!  It's got OOOO-EEEEE.....it's cookin' with gas!

I do agree.  It is a great CD, but since I already have a copy, I will pass on another.

In fact I won my copy of JEEPERS CREEPERS, back in the days when we had contests at this here site.

Well, a storm is heading this way--we may get up to 9 inches of snow Thursday.  The local joke is that everyone heads to the supermarket for milk, bread and toilet paper when snowstorms are predicted.

Speaking of the songs on Jeepers Creepers:  I went to a taping of Will and Grace a few years ago.  Jeff Goldblum was a guest star.  During a break he "entertained" the audience and started to sing or hum (can't remember) some songs and asked if anyone knew the titles.  I yelled out "Stella by Starlight" when I heard it and he was amazed that anyone knew that song.

TCB, re the Tony Danza somewhat-word-playing reference:  he does come pretty darn close to spectacular in a stage role of a lifetime in the musical HONEYMOON IN VEGAS.

Are you serious about that, or are you pulling my leg?
