I am so thrilled about the medical reports that DRs John G and Vixmom have received recently!

I forgot DR John G!  Sorry.  I truly am happy for you.

Another day of Walking With Morgan!  We had several new  exercises for my ankle, ball of my foot, and walking this morning, along with all the older stretching and mobility exercises.

Speaking of Chilli, I found a yummy sounding slow cooker recipe for quinoa chilli. It is so simple, even I may try to make it  :)

And speaking of things non-chilli, I came across this website by former child actor Marc Copage (starred in the 1960s show I am currently addicted to, JULIA).

His life was full of good and no so good. His mother pretty much abandonded him when he was a toddler, and his relationship with his father (who was also an actor) ended up not so good. It is all quite interesting to read. I think he is still in the process of adding to the story.

DR John G. - you might enjoy this article from today's NY Times on chili:
http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02/12/dining/if-its-chili-its-personal.html?nl=todaysheadlines&emc=edit_th_20140212&_r=0

Thank you. I know Robb Walsh, who provides the chili recipe of recipes. He's also written a great deal on barbecue.

I didn't know that MR BK's cousin wrote PITCH PERFECT.....it was one of my favorite movies last year with some very funny dialogue.  I particularly liked what was written for the contest commentators:

Well, there's nothing that makes a woman feel more like a girl than a man who sings like a boy.

I loved that line. And I enjoyed that movie.

Our church had its annual chili cook-off Sunday. I was not the winner. I made something that tasted like chili. I tasted the winning entry. It tasted like Sloppy Joe's but with more tomato and no trace of chili powder.

I'm up and have been up since nine-thirty, entering fixes from the first proofer - mostly commas and such - did about ninety percent of them, and will run the stuff I'm not sure about by Muse Margaret.

Wife Sandy flew to Los Angeles yesterday to attend her brother's funeral today.

She'll be home tomorrow, but I do miss her.

My condolences to your wife on the loss of her brother. :(

A few days ago, I'd read that both Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson have signed on for the sequel...to be directed by Elizabeth Banks, who may also appear in the movie.  I didn't realize that she had also co-produced the first movie.
