Hello to Larry and Ginny (who isn't usually here this early in the morning)
DR Cillaliz - Nice to have you back. Sorry I was a wuss last night and missed your return online. I like your new photo.
Welcome back to DR Rodzinski, too. You got away the other night before I had a chance to say "Good-bye."
DR MBARNUM - please give us the highlights of this month's Classic Images!
Kimmel & Haines---didn't they once open for Totie Fields? I could swear I remember catching them at the Latin Casino in Cherry Hill, NJ in '74.
Hey all,
I have my 5 mins of fame coming up. I volunteered to work at the House in St James for the TV show extreme Makeover back in March. I don't know how much of me they'll show but i put the cesspools in and had Ty hanging off my machine.I am running the excavator(looks like a really big backhoe with tracks) It is supposed to air May 8th Sunday night at 8 PM. It should be interseting. It was quite an experience, but it was for good cause. Hope you can watch.
Kenny
Kenny is an admirer of female pulchridude:

Play that I'd like revived: Noises Off! I played Tim Allgood in a local production about 12 years ago. I'd love to play the role again. ;D I would, of course, be part of a production that played on Broadway...making my Broadway debut! ;)
Hey, Ron, have you seen The Bride Wore Black thread at the FSM board? I'm SO close.
Kenny's got Devil Eyes in that picture....is his mother named Rosemary?

Here's that Kevin photo re-sized:
It might be fun to see Ty hanging off of his machine. I will watch.
YEAH!!! PAGE TWO!!!!I'm listening to a cd by Mario Frangoulis right now, some of it sung in Greek. Does that count?
In honor of my return to the Greek Islands this afternoon... ;)
Let's all do the Malevyziotikos!!!
-Who's got the ouzo?
Btw, tonight is the second to last episode of Amazing Race. Cannot wait to see who gets eliminated tonight (as long as it's not romber. :) )

RECIPROCITY, baby, RECIPROCITY!
I'll be Ron can guess who one of those GUESTS is.
You mean, as long as it's not Meredith/Gretchen! LOL!
Dave "Baby" Cortez is now playing The Happy Organ...next up will be Rinky Dink.Where oh where is TCB???
RECIPROCITY, that's me byword
RECIPROCITY me twinkle in the eye word
Until I checked I thought perhaps that Majel Barrett was Brent Barrett's drag name. I had no idea who she is. Now I know.
Reciprocity, goddammit! ;D
Of course, as we all know many producers read this here website (we like to call them GUESTS), so I just thought we'd help them out with our revival suggestions.
More vibes for Guy Haines. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

From Cillaliz:
Oh, but you need the full effect of watching the whole show while enjoying the peace and quiet of an evening home alone
OOPS! I quoted the wrong post! I meant to quote Jane about Supernanny. Guess I've been gone too long
Alas, EYES doesn't come on this week, replaced by that ABC expose on AMERICAN IDOL.
The Happy Organ - that's the title of my next novel.Sounds like a partial title.
Actually, I've been meaning to Photoshop that picture and get the red out for two years, so I could frame a print and give it to Kenny. Unfortunately, in January he moved in with his girlfriend--not the girl in the picture--so perhaps it might not be the best idea now.
Interesting things are developing here, BK...yesirreebob...interesting things. All pertinent to what went before.
Promises broken may be on the way to being promises kept. We shall see.
As ever.
As I stated last week, I would like to have seen Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf with Joseph Cotton and Bette Davis.Have I got a Nick and Honey for you!!!
But who as Nick and Honey? Perhaps a young Jimmy Stewart and Judy Holliday.
I don't know from Robert Osborne's eyes and weight - although he certainly looks different from month to month, and anything is possible.
I only know that back in 1959 when he was one of the Desilu Workshop Players, he was a safe enough date to escort the still married Mrs Desi Arnaz to a musical at the Huntington Hartford. 8)
I remember someone doing "drag names" here a couple of years back...something about the name of your first pet matched with the name of the first street you lived on.I'd be Shortz Andover.
Mine was: Dinky-Boo Young!
I remember an episode of "Will and Grace" in which the topic of drag names was introduced. Are you sure that wasn't her birth name?
Karen's was "Shoo-Shoo Fontana"!
Darn!
Last night we watched GREY'S ANATOMY :-\ What did you think of that episode compared to the rest of the show?
P.S. My drag name would be Sandra Parkview. Yes, my first pet was named Sandra. Sandra, Jr., actually. That's not weird, is it?
DR Rodzinski, where in Montreal were you? Unless you were very far east most people should have been bilingual.
And my Joe was wearing exactly the same "camouflage" pants yesterday, talk about co-inky-dink. But he wasn't on television.
Horace:
how many times was Irene Dunne nominated for an Academy award?
Unless it is the street you currently live on , then it would be:Blackie Pearl
Hi all, Sugar Westwood here
That would be a great name for a stripper!

Well RIGHT NOW, I would be Hollywood Fairlane.
What can you tell me about Henry the Black, Duke of Bavaria, my esteemed ancestor.
So where is my Dukedom?
Der Brucer will be hogging the television sets tonight.
On one set he will be taping two hours of shows, ditto on set two. He'll be watching set three.
Two hours of Law and Order.
House.
Veronica Mars.
Blind Justice.
Judging Amy.
Of all of this, the only show I care for at all is House. After that, I'll be in my room, reading.
Danged TV hog.
And one of the sets he'll be taping on is MY set in MY KITCHEN!!! Bleh!
Hi all, Sugar Westwood here
;D
Has anyone been watching Veronica Mars? I planned on giving it a try until I discovered we don't get the station it's on.
Damn! I'm going to Montreal!
Oh. Bilingual.
DR GINNY - I bet you do.
My favorite question I used to get at the DEPT OF LABOR - even though they had called the wrong division:
"My boss fired me. Can he do that?" :P
Frisky Husky Way...doesn't quite have a ring to it. :P Actually, Husky Way is where my parents live now, where we moved when I was 10 years old. I don't remember any street names before that.
Or currently, housemate's pet and street: Ebonie 68th Ct.
No, that doesn't work, either! ::)
JRand did you keep a book of those brilliant questions? ;) ;D
Cici Sampson, checking in. Cici was my first hamster, the first pet I owned all by myself. The first family pet was a basenji named Twerp...and I flat out refuse to use it :)
Neither THAT DARN CAT nor IN SEARCH OF THE CASTAWAYS were Panavision movies, but they probably still should have been letterboxed and enhanced for widescreen TVs.
That's more Disney crap like they've done with a lot of their popcorn pictures from that era. Something like MARY POPPINS, they'll go the extra mile on, but not a pleasant diversion like THAT DARN CAT.

Depends on what your pet was.....
:)
I think they're open matte, Michael, rather than pan and scan. Disney probably filmed them using the full camera aperture so they could be shown on TV without losing anything. Theater projectionists were probably instructed to matte the film in the projector to a 1.75:1 or 1.85:1 frame.
Joey is the $3500 you want to raise an accumulative amount beginning with this marathon? Is there a link to make a donation for you? I think it is great you plan to run so many marathons.
