The concert was great fun - I was pretty on and some of the patter really got huge laughs and I kept the way too long show moving as best I could.  We try to limit Henry's opening patter to three minutes - he did twenty-two minutes.  That will NOT be happening tomorrow afternoon.  But we should also eliminate two or three numbers.

Twenty-two minutes  :o

So, the earliest movie that I recorded (in 2016 or 2017) that I still have on my DVR for which I wanted to make a Blu-ray is Bette Midler's concert film, Divine Madness.

TCM broadcast the original theatrical version, which include two songs never released on any home VHS or DVD release!

And the movie itself has never been released on Blu-ray.

Just before the concert I got the news that my friend Marsha Kramer passed away - cancer - she didn't want anyone to know, apparently.  She did Peter Pan with Sandy Duncan, did my show Together Again, did all the readings of my musical Pals, performed with me at the Gardenia, did a Kritzerland, and one of the ALS benefits.  A dear, wonderful gal she was.

I saw Ms. Kramer three times on Broadway in PETER PAN.  She was wonderful as Wendy.  My condolences BK on the passing of your friend.

The original Divine Madness soundtrack, while it didn't include any of the comedy routines or seven of the songs from the movie, I'd read somewhere that it did include one song not in the movie....I don't know which.

I've read a couple of articles that list contradicting missing and/or added songs. :-\

Well, as I go through the movie while adding the chapter breaks, I'll find out what songs are actually there.

If anyone's interested (and even if you're not), here's the complete list of songs that might or might not be in the movie or on the album.
