I am well aware of the situation. It is in our local news every year during the "push" to convince parents to vaccinate their children before school begins. I wasn't aware the government is now getting involved. Interesting story, thank you.

I felt a little ambitious this afternoon so I took down all the other Christmas decore other than the Christmas tree and platform. It's amazing how quickly it does all get taken down and packed away considering how long it takes to put it all up. And how empty the place already looks even with the tree still here. Tomorrow at this time the livingroom will be barren,

I'm feeling like Typhoid Mary: while I was talking to my friend and adopted son Josh who called to cancel on me tomorrow morning since he's sick with a cold, my friend Chris called to cancel dinner with me tonight. They're dropping like flies!

So . . . what do I for dinner? I wonder if I can convince the Mexican takeout to deliver a pitcher of margaritas?

Today, Mark, Stan's niece, and I met with the pastor of Stan's church. As usual, when I get nervous I tend to blab on and on. The pastor wanted anticdotes, well, he got them from me. Everything Mark or Joyce said reminded me of another story. The poor pastor. I think his plan for an hour meeting turned it to over two hours.

Of course, Mark also seems to have the flair for the dramatic. As we were finishing up the meeting, Mark dropped the news on the pastor that Stan had left the church $87,000.00 for their youth scholarship program.

-Just three more hours to go. I hope. We left NYC a little later than scheduled, but the driver seemed to make up the time once we hit the turnpike. I also ended up taking a good nap, which is a good thing since I don't believe the two women sitting in front of me have stopped chatting since the Holland Tunnel.
