Well, you've read the notes, the notes were busy, and now it is time for you to post until the very busy cows come home.

Here's a surrealist joke.  I love this one:

Two penguins are sitting in a bathtub.  One says to the other, "Will you hand me the soap?"  The other says, "What do you think I am...a radio?"

;D

And now, I must be going to sleep.  I have rehearsal tomorrow for "R&J," which means I have to leave work early, so I'd like to try to actually get to work early.  We'll see.

Good night, BK, Der Brucer and any guests.

Me, too.  I do love our little awards gatherings, even if I apparently irk dear reader Jose to no end - and I'm jiggy with that :).  It's a dirty job, but someone's gotta do it (which is also a lyric in one of the new Nudie Musical songs).

DR Sam:  I am so very sorry about your loss of your father.  Please know that I am thinking of you.   I am glad that he didn't suffer.

I shall now go to either Gelson's or the Subway.

I had Subway for dinner...I still have half a footlong for later.  :)

So does that mean you have six inches? ;D

I won't even try to get through yesterday's posts right now. It's 8:19 and I'm at work. If I didn't have a raft of meetings and preparation for the trip to DC next Monday I would have taken the day off. I'm exhausted and I only had to travel back to 16th Street from 50 Street last night.

I will provide details later but suffice it to say I had a great time.

I hope the opening number played as well on the small screen as it did live at Radio City Music Hall. It was amazing!!!

I got home from a dinner party event last night sooner than I expected and I wound up watching the Tony Awards anyway.  I'm sorry that I did.  It seems that every year I keep thinking that it can't get any worse and it does.

I decided not to join the HHW party cause I had nothing good to say and I didn't want to be a party pooper.

DR Sam, I'm sorry to read about your father.  It's good that he got to go the way he wanted.

Good morning, all! I slept late amnd I have a few errands to run before settling down to work on some Jerome Moross scores.

I cannot think of a single joke this morning, only the sad news from DR Sam. It's two years and four months since my Dad's death and I think of him every day.

I can't stop thinking about how bad the direction was on the Tony's last night...so I guess I'd better get to work.

Because I use Twitter more as a consumer than as a contributor and get updates from the Dayton Daily News, here's an item from Alice Ripley's "hometown" press:
