Annabelle's penchant for tossing things off tables and shelves is working my last nerve.  She's driving me nuts today.

Testify!

"They" said it was going to rain all day today, but the sun is shining brightly.

We also have sun.  I wanted to walk but the dirty frig won out.  Then I moved on to all the drawers in the kitchen.

The shame is you don't have a place to put these things in a safe place from her.  While cats like to play with aluminum foil balls they don't necessarily like to walk on them.  It might be worth it to try putting some down and she if she avoids it.

I googled that and found a couple of other suggestions as well.
"cover the counters with textures cats hate — aluminum foil is one example; cardboard covered with double-faced masking tape or shelf liner is another. No, you won’t have your counters covered forever, but you will need to keep them covered while your cat learns to use the new perches. For the more determined cat, you can look at harmless automatic devices that discourage counter cruising by making sounds cats dislike when they trigger a pressure pad or electronic eye by jumping up."

Yes it was staged for an audience - there in full screaming force - although it was directed within an inch of its life for the tv cameras.

It rained off and on a bit today while I was out at lunch.  It started raining just as I got into my car to go to lunch, then stopped before I got to Taco Del Mar, then rained while I was eating, then it stopped just as I was leaving and got back to work, then it started to rain just as I was walking into the building!  That all timed out perfectly! :D

What a curiously curious day.  I never went back to sleep, I did my morning errand at two-thirty, I had lunch at eleven-thirty - just an omelet and a bagel, picked up no packages, but was surprised to find the eBay counteroffer accepted, so that's a done deal.

I love when the rain is accommodating to my schedule.

Well, guess what - I just did a Google search on the person who accepted my counteroffer - he owns a - wait for it - bookstore.  He is a dealer.  He just got forty percent off on a book he will immediately relist and try to sell for three times what he paid, guaranteed.  Just another reason to hate eBay.  It's okay, I got what I needed to get and actually made a huge profit, since I got lucky and got the book at auction for almost nothing because no one knew what it was and there were no other bids.  However, had I known for sure he was a dealer I wouldn't have countered with what I did.  But, as I keep saying, the only people buying books on eBay are dealers who'll grab stuff they think the can resell.  Since this guy happens to sell on eBay, too, plus on the ABE, I'll be watching to see what he does with this.  The good news is, that should he try this with any other title I have, I will not do the deal.

Sorry to shout.  I’m sure vixmom, for instance, didn’t need to be told.

As the kids say,  I am SO over this weather

I feel so bad for everyone who got snow. We completely missed this storm. But the weather forecast for Friday shows 15-20cms of snow. I have my fingers crossed that the weather will change by then. I absolutely do not want to see anymore snow this Spring.  The roads are bare. Everyone is wearing shoes. Please no more snow!

And on that note (pick a note...any note ;) ), I'm outta here.  I'm leaving for my first Cinder Edna rehearsal!  AND I remembered to set my DVR to record tonight's "Antiques Roadshow"!  It's the first of the three Portland, Oregon episodes that I attended last year!  I wore my white shirt that has very noticeable pineapples on it so that I would be easy to see. :D Hopefully, I'll be seen!

Until later!

We just watched JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR.

Enjoyed it, except for Alice Cooper.

Herod is a "fun" role, and Cooper was not "fun".

I got through fifteen minutes of Jesus Christ, Superstar just now - it's streaming on Broadway World.  I hated every damn second of it.  From what I'd read, the choreography was GREAT, the staging was GREAT - not what I saw.  That's not choreography - choreography has a point and it should serve the drama.  This was flipping and rolling around.  And all that silly overdone lighting.  Just not my thang.
