No one is alone.  14 pages!  And they've deserted us like rats in a sinking ship.

I should hope so! I almost started to tell my only friend who is online to chat that she should come and post. Alas, she is watching a movie, so she is busy.

I actually got three charts done.. well, more like two charts and one full piano-vocal arrangement.  The song repeated a lot, so I just had to a bunch of cutting and pasting.  Of course, the lyrics were different for each verse, so that took more time.  Then I had to futz - rhymes with "lutz" - with the spacing - I tend to get very picky.  And that took more time.  Then I decided to put some of the "ad lib" vocals in... and that took more time...

However, the arrangement looks smashing!  -If I do say so myself!  Now I just have two more songs to go, and those are just "outlines", so...  Maybe I'll do them now before heading to bed.. or work on them in the morning... we'll see what happens.

As for what I'm holding in the pic... It's a slice of a very decadent chocolate torte that was presented to me - and the rest in my group - at the end of "chocolate tour" I took when I was in Melbourne, AUS, this past summer.  It's kind of hard to see in the pic, but "drawn" in chocolate is a picture of the tower that is above the performing arts center - rather "centre".  Kind of Tour Eifel-ish.

-And, yes, the cake was delicious.  And, yes, I ate the whole thing.  Plus all the other chocolate on the tour.  Next time, I plan to take the "Chocolate and Other Desserts" tour.  And there's also one where you get pancakes!!!

Oh my gosh, Jose, that sounds absolutely delish! I want to go on a chocolate tour! I could subsist on chocolate. Oh, and bread...and pasta...and potatoes. As you can see, I'm no candidate for the Atkins diet!

My goodness, what a day this has been, what a rare mood I'm in, why it's almost like being the most popular site on all the Internet.  It's a shame Maya wasn't here to partake of it, because we always miss our Maya, or is it we always Maya our Miss?

Aww Jose, now you're making me feel guilty! :)

Well, if you're feeling guilty, you could always have some chocolate...

*I've been resisting the bag-o-chocolate that's about two feet from me - it was a present from my Secret Santa during Camelot.  Of course, I should have just given it away to someone.. or put it downstairs in the candy dish in the living room... but, no... Of course, that didn't stop me from opening that box of chocolates earlier this evening...

OK - I'm gonna go ahead and knock out one more chart before heading to bed...  Shouldn't take too long at all since it's three verses and a refrain - an easy copy and paste job...  I may even be back before the new notes go up...

Start the clock...

NOW!

-Or maybe not... we'll see..

Has anyone tried Scoops? They come in four flavors: York Peppermint Patty, Hershey milk chocolate, Almond Joy, and Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. They basically look like chocolate potato chips. Sooo yummy, especially the Reeses. All four boxes are currently sitting upstairs on my kitchen counter. I will NOT go get some to snack on. No no no. I have willpower...I think.

Thanks for the promotion of Melbourne tourism Jose. No doubt the State of Victoria will be posting you a suitable cheque. (I guess that is "check "for you or possibly Czech might be of more interest - a large Czech. I hope all the readers aren't rushing to Melbourne Florida.

I've never heard of Scoops.  They sound interesting.

I finally made a CD of the TV soundtrack album to Ruggles of Red Gap with Michael Redgrave, Peter Lawford, Imogene Coca, David Wayne and Jane Powell.  It was written by Jule Styne (Buddy Bregman's uncle!) and Leo Robin.  One of the tunes, "I'm In Pursuit of Happiness" was reused in Gypsy as "You'll Never Get Away From Me" (from what I understand, Sondheim was livid when he found out that one of the tunes was recycled).  I added Ethel and Jack's original Gypsy recording as a bonus track.  The album is a DRG reissue.  I don't know what year it was re-released.  I got the album on eBay and it was either new or near mint.  It sounds pretty good.

Even though I don't have to be at work until noon, I'm heading off to beddie-bye-land now.  Sleep well all, and I hope everyone has good weather wherever they live...especially me! ;D
