And since I was watching things that were on the DVR, I started the first part of ELIZABETH I since I hadn't watched it again since watching the premiere on HBO.

Whatever problems we've been having are going to be fixed once and for all today.  I spy me a Mr. Mark Bakalor, so maybe he's helping out.

Regarding the changes in the look of the city:  Has anyone seen BLADE RUNNER in the past couple of years?  I remember how far-fetched the "look" of the movie seemed back when it first came out, but now we seem to have gone beyond even the fictitious urban world it portrayed.  (Much like seeing NETWORK again recently.  When the movie was made, it seemed far-fetched, and we've gone beyond it in terms of what's happened to TV shows.)

I don't remember anyone else mentioning it, so I will

The wonderful actor Robert Sterling died at age 88. Loved him in TOPPER, and in the 1951 SHOW BOAT, too.

Love Robert Sterling.  I modeled my "Adam" in Tabitha on him.

RLP, you are a bad influence...I was envious of your loot and so I got on Amazon and didn't look back...I now have Frank Stallone, Nervous Norvus, and Ray Noble all coming to me soon...quite an odd selection, I might say.

And the next time you piss and moan about no money to visit New York, buster, remember this post!

When you get home, get a 6-oz glass, fill it with hot tap water, dissolve two tablespoons of salt in the water and then GARGLE.  Spit out.  GARGLE another mouthful.  Continue until glass is empty (stir the water in the glass before taking a new mouthful to ensure salt dissolves).

Note:  Do NOT swallow.

Celebrities have always been newsmakers and I am sure they always will be. I am very happy for Ms. Couric's promotion, but I don't have much interest in it all, so have not paid much attention to any of the goings on. Whether others care enough about her or her promotion, I do not know.

And since many people complain that there are only bad things in the news...well, I guess this would be one of those good things that people are always wanting reported in the news.

I've had eggs on my mind, so I just bought a dozen and shall now make a couple of egg and cheese small burrito things (using a taco-sized tortilla).  Also got some fruitstuffs.

I used the last of my eggs baking the cake on Monday, so I'll be buying them on Friday when I revisit the supermarket.

Forbidden Broadway
Forbidden Hollywood
Forbidden HHW

I'm collecting the set.

I'm hoping there will not be Forbidden Fruits or I shall have to post elsewhere. (where figs are tolerated).

Forbidden Bollywood.  Now there's a thought.

Everything is very fast.  However, if two posts are attempting to come through at exactly the same time, then it slows up.
